Where do you go to workshop your writing?

I've used youwriteon.com in the past. It used to be good when it was supported by the Arts Council (UK) but it's now rather slow. Can be useful though. Other nationalities are made welcome too. Some of the critiques can be useful, others very clearly haven't bothered to read it properly.

Hi Danielle,
I am taking creative writing at my community college. Part of the class is devoted to workshopping a piece of everyone's work. It's great advice and validation. Even if isn't feasible to enroll, you can contact creative writing teachers for advice.
Also, look for creative writing classes in non-credit catalogs. Sometimes rec centers, tech high schools, or colleges offer night classes just for fun. Then check your local library ( or not so local ) to see if they have or know of any writing groups.

What Tom said. I organize a writers' Meetup in Bangkok. We have 100+ members but about 6-10 people show up on a regular basis. It's a great way to get feedback. You could always start your own group if you can't find an established one in your area. Good luck!
