Maura (mauraps) | 5 comments There's major room for improvement in the searchability of lists on goodreads. It seems like every search turns up tons of no doubt very popular but completely unrelated lists of romance/YA novels.

Typing in the actual title of a list I've seen before (but failed to bookmark >_<) doesn't bring that list up so it seems like the search is going off of words used in the description, or titles of books within the list, and maybe is too heavily weighted to return popular/recently active lists? (However, I've tried playing around with the All/Title/Author/Genre search option and they don't seem to affect the results.

I'm new to the Goodreads Librarians Group so please forgive my ignorance if this is something that's already been brought up. If there's any way I could possibly help with this, I would be happy to donate my time.

I think your question would be better suited for the feedback group- https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/.... Librarians have no control over site functionality.
