Love Does by Bob Goff is a compilation of some of his most exhilarating and eye-opening experiences in his life. Each chapter introduces a new adventure from his life that changed him to become the person and Christian person he is today. I was hesitant in choosing a Christian book at first but after reading the first chapter I fell in love. My favorite adventure of his consisted of a random guy asking to use his house for a wedding proposal. Of course, this seemed strange, but Bob did not care and wanted to do all that he could to help this guy succeed in the perfect wedding proposal. This story is a beautiful representation of the purpose of the entire book. Love can work wonders. It can completely change someone's life.
I would recommend this book to anyone. It displays a unique view of God's love in this world and how this love can change you as a person. It helped me realize all the places I can find love, and if I show love to others, I most certainly will receive it in return. It would be great for someone who is struggling to find love in this troubling world because once you form a relationship with God, this love is easier to find. This book is a great representation of the person I would like to be to others and how I can use this love in miraculous ways.
