Let me guess, suspicious stranger sitting in corner of tavern? :PBTW Danielle, how come you aren't doing our quest?!
I did sign up, but I just couldn't get my head around it. I was meant to go back and see what others were doing, but then I totally forgot.
Yes, quilty :p Next time I enter the tavern I will ask him out lolI'm really loving the RPG quest. At first it was a bit confusing but since we each have our separate threads, it makes it much easier now. And I love snooping around :)

Letters --> S, T, R, I
I kept the original rules modified by Tea for the 7 letters word. Danielle, I tried to give precedence to your 'A' but I can't fit it in the word ;)

We could always spell Strider and Aragorn. And maybe add Elessar just to have more Ss? :P

Making sure you got right letters? :P"
Yes lol
Think I'll do it each time, I shouldn't go wrong then
✼Danielle✼ wrote: "Think I'll do it each time, I shouldn't go wrong then "But it won't be fun anymore :(

Yes, I know. I was confused also. Since the 'I' in Strider sounds like A when pronouncing I followed Danielle's way of thinking. I liked how Strider sounds and it starts with a S but maybe I should have kept Aragorn, but then I wanted to avoid the O :p dilemma dilemma lol Yes we could do all the characters' aliases :)
Your wish is my command :POK, now, we all know how our heroes are always outnumbered in battles and how they are always on the verge of dying but then you hear that one sentence that signals help is here and you know good guys are going to win... So we are going to spell that sentence: Eagles are coming!

Okay I'm jumping in! Tea has recruited me. I am a little confused so far so I'll just explain how I THINK it works and then if someone can tell me how wrong I am that would be great!Someone picks a word and then whenever we finish a book during that week, we updated it with character, author, title.
I'm reading Rules of Prey right now so I would put
R- Title
J,S- author
L- character
and then if any of those letters fit with the word, then they would be put in?
OK, Beth modified rules...Forget the spinning. We'll keep doing then (until you want to try it out)
One of us rolls (are we rolling still?) a wheel and come up with a word to spell.
Everyone are just reading books and trying to find as many letters from a word in their books. You can use title, author, series and characters (they need to speak at least one sentence in a book to be used ☺)
Give us letters you found, and we'll do the rest.
Now since there are only few of us and with 'real' rules we never managed to finish spellings, we modified them some.
Books with 100-150 can be used for 1 letter, books 150-500 for 2 and books over 500 for 3. So be sure to mention if your book is 1- or 3- letter word, cause default is 2 :P
I think that should be it. Have fun and ask if you don't understand something. ☺

Yep. You can also use series.
And please just give letters that are needed for spelling (*looks at Danielle*). It's easier for the one keeping track that week.
❀Tea❀ wrote: "And please just give letters that are needed for spelling (*looks at Danielle*). It's easier for the one keeping track that week ..."Where's the fun in that. I like confusing you all (even though it not done on purpose)
Okay, I think I understand now! thanks, Tea. This should be fun :D with no more Tower Teams, I only have one team challenge going right now. I'm going to go through withdrawals soon
