I'll be up for about another hour
OK, I've posted our books.Well done ladies. You did great not only this week but whole challenge.
It was pleasure reading with you. :D
And now...
I'm going to be so lost now. No new genre, no having books set to read. No coming to say what book I've finished. I've enjoyed reading with you all. I can't quite believe I managed to read 130 books in the 7 weeks.

I hate goodbyes and am so sad that my first reading challenge is over. I could not have asked for a better team- you were all so supportive and friendly. Thank you for the experience and I am so glad to have met you all!
I don't see why we can't continue just for fun. We could try work our way through all genres and see how long it'll take us.
My last message posted before I was finished. This has been a great team. Had so much fun interacting with you all!

❀Tea❀ wrote: "I don't see why we can't continue just for fun. We could try work our way through all genres and see how long it'll take us."I think that would be fun, but I have to start reading some books for my certification courses for work. I want to try to complete them in 2 years instead of the 4 years we are given. Plus, I hear next week if I was promoted to my supervisor's position and then I would have less time to read during the week.
Thank you, everyone, for the well wishes. I had a rough night last night, with pains and tingling in my arms and legs, so I had to see someone. After hours in the ER, I was told to take a women's multivitamin, that I'm not diabetic, and to see another doctor. Tea Thanks so much for posting the books! I feel bad about asking you, knowing what time it is for you, but I didn't know what else to do. Sorry I forgot to put Accidentally Yours on the right shelf! I listened to it on audio, so it's not on my read shelf but I put the date read. Oh well.

It is a Library Support Staff Certification course. I don't want to go back to school for a Masters of Library and Information Science which I would need to work at the Reference desk. I want to do more of the behind the scenes tasks in circulation and technical services where we focus more on processing and organizing materials than finding out what patrons need or are looking for.Having the certification will give me a step up for promotions and jobs with more responsibility.

I would love to do that! The only thing is with school starting I would be busier, but I'm up for the challenge!
I'll spin the wheel in the morning when I'm not on tablet. *grins*Any wishes how you want to do it? All genres or only those we didn't have? That could be tricky if we get new Hobbits (I'm not counting TC, she already is Hobbit :p) How often should we spin? Weekly, bieeekly, monthly, until we spell genre x-times?
I know I won't be reading as much or better to say not all read book will fit.
Karla glad to hear everything is ok.And no worries. I'd probably still be awake, reading in bed (as you can see :p).
As for missing book, maybe you could still make it count? I think I saw before some teams adding books even after posting time. Even if it doesn't count, we've kept our 4th place. SH had less books read than us. :)
The Mods will come up with another teams challenge soon I am sure. Even though it was the last stretch I am glad I got to join in.
❀Tea❀ wrote: "I'll spin the wheel in the morning when I'm not on tablet. *grins*"I definitely won't be reading quite as much as I have for the last weeks.

Thanks. The book was only worth ten points, so there's no reason to bother adding it.

Thank you.

We could do it like the game was set up, spin once a week and see how many times we can read the genre in the week, or we could just read the genre once, and spin after we finish it.
I wish we could do another towers round. But, without the cupcakes and extra points. Just see how long it takes to read 2014 books.
Congratulations Hobbits, we kept 4th place :) !Just wanted to say that this was an amazing team. I had a great time. Actually the spinning of the wheels was the highlight of my weekends for the past 7 weeks lol. For my first team challenge this was definitely a success. I will be there for other team challenges. I'm doomed now anyway :p. Thanks captain Karla, you are great. Oh, and special thanks to our special agent for doing the much appreciated undercover work :D
I feel like I'm at the Oscars :p
Hobbits' (& friends) wheel-a-thon
1. Have fun!
One of us will spin the wheel sometime Sunday (who ever wants and when we feel like it ☺).
We'll read/spell that genre until someone spins the wheel next week.
No need to make plans and posts upfront, just post what you've finished and how it fits spelling.
No need to tag books on specific shelf (unless you want to track it for yourself).
Person who spun the wheel will keep track of spelling.
To be fair, we'll stick to 160 pages rule (but nobody will be checking ☺).
Some of us stuck to shorter books for this challenge. To give them chance to catch up books over 500 pages will count for 2 letters (don't forget to mention in your post if book qualifies.) Again, we won't be checking. We trust you! :D
Since this is just for fun, we won't wait until one word/round is done, to go to next one.
(I think children was later moved from game, but it's still on wheel. If you land on that one, roll again.)
If anyone has another idea, feel free to speak.! ☺
