Thank you, it went fine. I just got home, so I am updating now.
Update: I have updated every book that has been read. We have one letter to complete round one, and O book, I have an O book that I will begin tomorrow. I will add all of the other claimed books tomorrow, including my own. I am just too tired to do more tonight.
Finished Paper Valentine. I was planning to read the Omens (the sequel is coming out soon) so that can count for an 'O' also.
I have an O book on my list that you might not have seen? The character is Owen. I started it last night but haven't had time to add it.

I am going to go through and add the rest of the books now. We can use your O book for round one and my O book for round two, or vice versa depending on who finishes first.

If you would be willing to read A Street Cat Named Bob: How One Man and His Cat Found Hope on the Streets first, that would be best, so we have the biography book we need.
Update: We need one O book to finish round one. We have six books read for round two, we need one O, I, and A book read for round two to be finished. We have 3 books read for round three.

❀Tea❀ wrote: "I'm starting Out in the Field"That's great! I'm starting Out of My Mind today, so that will cover the O for round two.

Great, thanks!

I'm halfway through my O as well :D. I'll be done with it sometime tonight. I move it up as it's a short one.
Karla, I saw in other groups comments on increasing goal to 5000 so game would last longer then next week. Any news about that?If you need a vote, you have mine :D
It's fun challenge and I'd be happy to continue it. (And I'll be back home and back to my usual reading speed (no distractions!))
❀Tea❀ wrote: "Karla, I saw in other groups comments on increasing goal to 5000 so game would last longer then next week. Any news about that?..."Me too, I love this challenge!
Someone mentioned in the Captains' group that, without an increase, the game would end after next round. Someone else, as kind of a joke, suggested increasing the goal to 5,000. I made a comment about the game going by quickly, saying that I would be fine with the increase. Now, three other (co)captains have said they would like an increase. None of the mods have commented so far. I hadn't said anything to the team because the increase was not the idea of a mod. But, I will let the mods know that you three would like to increase the goal too.

- City Mouse"You sure about page count on that one? According to publisher word count is 41,100 (157 pages).
I thought it was 160 pages or 40,000 words.I thought I saw somewhere if publisher gives word count (41,100) and dividing by 250, it would come out as 164 pages.
Maybe Karla will know if it works or not.
Oh, sorry. I thought bottom is 42,000 words. And I didn't check math. And since first book is so short I just assumed GR has wrong info.
Was it at least better than first one? :D

Not really, I wanted more exploration of their relationship and issues. I found it was sort of easy and no real development of relationship.

160 pages/40,000 words is the cut off. I am the one who told you about dividing it by 250, you had a question about a different book.

I've spent last hour trying to find book, and then pick wrong one! For some reason, while searching, I was convinced that biography has E in it. *facepalm*You know, I'm actually tempted to reread Harry Potter just to see how many letters I can cover with it. :P Should I? :)
Haha! Anytime I see an L book, I think that will work and have to spell out biography and I notice that it won't work this week. I couldn't finish the first Harry Potter, so never tried the others.
So far it was N for me. I've almost started couple of books because they had N. And then I give up on one N because it has only 2 letters that fit (beside N) and pick a book with only P so far (since E & T aren't working).Maybe I should write letters on top of my screen (and few post-its around the house). I'm going through my reader and with every second book I have to spell out b-i-o-g-r-a-p-h-y to check what letters I need to find.
Hey, Mods, can we get genre with L, N and E in it for next round? And throw in a T if you're in the good mood? :P
Now the talk is to extend the game until the end of August, since some think 5,000 points is too many.
Update: We have 265 points so far. Round 1 and 2 are complete. We have 50 points for round 3. We cannot count the round four book until we complete round 3, so I have not added it to the total.
Done with Point of No Return. Good thing we can use all characters or I'd be stuck with only P :PStarted another wrong book. In my defense I need it for another challenge. But I should definitely stop picking my books after midnight. My spelling isn't working properly at that time. :P
Karla wrote: "Now the talk is to extend the game until the end of August, since some think 5,000 points is too many."Whatever you guys decide it's fine with me as long as we don't finish playing next week :D
Karla wrote: "Now the talk is to extend the game until the end of August, since some think 5,000 points is too many."As long as we go longer than next week, that's fine :D
It was ok. Romance part is sweet (although you have that 'we have to keep it a secret since nobody knows I'm gay' thing). Suspense is predictable (and I was little annoyed since bad guy was Croatian :)).If nothing else it's short & quick read. I have no idea where publisher found 51000+ words :P With your speed it should take about half an hour :P
