We are doing GREAT guys!!! No matter where we end up in ranking, we are going out with a bang! I appreciate everyone who has participated in this last week! I finished This Girl and am now reading Forgiving Lies, with MC Logan. I've been at it for about an hour now and I'm pretty sure I can finish by the deadline! Tomorrow I'm going to have to take my son somewhere really fun to make up for all the non-stop reading this week!

Reading Hourglass by Claudia Graystill the same characters: Lucas Ross, Dana Tryon and Kate
I'm also nearly finished with Wolves of Stone Ridge by Charlie Richards

I'm confident I'll be able to finish both by the deadline
Finally finished Winter of the World. 900+ page books really weren't the best option for this challenge but I did really enjoy them.C: Chuck Dewar

Lilac, I hope for future challenges they consider letting longer books count for more. I think it would be more than fair! I've loved doing the challenge but that's my only complaint.
I agree with you, more that once during the challenge I had to renounce reading a book because I thought I wouldn't read it fast enough and be able to read my more or less one book a day. I really wanted to contribute as much as possible to the challenge. Luckily I had a few shorter books on my to-read shelve.
Just wanted to say it's been a pleasure doing this challenge, getting to know you all a little bit & reading along side this fantastic team!
I just posted our final weeks' results. We did AWESOME!! 525 points!! Our highest score by far! I'm so proud of everyone for your part in pulling this team through the finish line! @Lilac and Shannon--I agree. Page count should really take into account! I also put aside several books I've been wanting to read in favor of shorter ones. If they ask for feedback, I'll definitely mention that!
I also enjoyed doing this challenge with you guys and getting to know y'all a little bit! It's bittersweet that it's coming to an end. I know I look forward to slowing my reading a bit and having time to read some longer ones, but I'm glad I got a lot of books off my TBR shelf, 49 in 7 weeks! That's a record for me for sure. But I will miss hearing from you guys on a daily basis, even if it was just to see what y'all are reading! I hope everyone had fun during this challenge! Again, however we end up ranking, I'm so proud of our team! TEAM SHERLOCK HOLMES ROCKS!!!! :)
I really did not expect it to feel so intense to me, but I did learn that my Kindle tracks my reading speed and tells me how long it will take me to read a book, which is handy, and it got me reading books I might not have otherwise because I have so many in my TBR pile. It got from being super far behind on my personal "at least 50 books a year" challenge to caught up too. I think Nikki is going to be glad I won't be reading so much and maybe stop talking about books to her all the time :D

Lol And I think that feature in the kindle is my favorite thing of all time lol. I'm pretty sure it's what truly turned me from a physical trade to an ebooker. Now when I have a physical book it drives me NUTS not knowing how long I have left in a chapter or in the book!
Yeah team Sherlock Holmes! We made it to the top 5 !!! We did really great :DEveryone, I had fun doing this challenge with you!
