My apologies! I didn't mark it on my reading plan...I'll post a retraction. Thanks.

A Christmas Carol won't work for 20.6, option 1, since "a" is a vowel."
My apologies, so embarrassed!

Task 20.8 requires that you include the cover of your book in your post, and that you specify the category it fits and what the qualifying cover item is."
My apologies again Sandy! I missed that the book must fit BOTH options, and chose option 1 only! Sorry!

We use the rule that the title is the word(s) before the colon, and the word(s) after the colon are the subtitle. See the FAQs.
The title of your book 2 is "The Walking Dead, Vol. 8" - you can ignore the 8, but you must have an endangered animal with the letters T, W, D, and V in its name.

You linked to a hardcover edition of The Tiger and the Wolf. I assume this is the edition you read, since you need to post the cover of the edition you read. In that case, the paperback page length is not relevant - if you read a paper edition, that is the page number you use.
No need to repost - the hardback edition is >500 pages - but you don't use the paperback page length unless you read an ebook or audiobook edition (or, unless it's the edition you read!)

I read the ebook which is why I used the paperback for length. I wasn't paying attention and posted the wrong link.

When the task involves a cover, it's important that you post the cover of the edition you actually read. They are not always the same.

FYI - no need to repost, since your combination has over 550 pages.
You may want to review the rules on ebook page numbers:
"If you read an ebook, or audiobook use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition.
>If there are multiple editions in a format:
From the editions page (click all editions on the main book page)
Set the Format, beginning with Mass Market Paperback
Set the Sort By as "num ratings"
Use the top edition result to determine the page number for ebooks and audiobooks
If there are no editions in MMPB, reset with Paperback and the same sort (num ratings). If there are no paperback editions, reset with Hardcover and the same sort (num ratings). If there are no print editions the ebook or audiobook may not be used for a task requiring a page number."
In this post, you appear to be using the ebook page count for The Collapsing Empire, since that's the edition you linked to and it had 336 pages. Since this was an ebook, you should reference the top MMPB, which has 384 pages.
For A Reunion Of Ghosts: A Novel, you need to use the page count for the top paperback edition, since there is no MMPB. That book has 380 pages.
In this case, it's all good, since the total is over 550 pages, but that isn't always going to be the case.

Task 15.4 requires the use of two different animals from the list.
The one book option must satisfy the criteria for both book 1 and book 2 from the first option. Book 2 specifically requires a different animal. By using only one animal, you have not fulfilled the criteria for both book 1 and book 2.

To retroactively claim a big book ticket, you need to repost the book/task information including links. State at the beginning of your post that it is only for the purpose of claiming a big book ticket.
In this case, since the post follows immediately, I will go ahead and pick up the BB ticket request, but please follow the normal procedures in the future.
Also, see message 65 above. The MMPB edition of your book has 850 pages.

Task 5.2 - Crash appears to only exist in ebook form. If you have had this book approved for length in the Ebook verification thread, please repost, including the post # or line # in the spreadsheet. If you have not, you will need to get verification in that thread that this book meets SRC page requirements.
Task 15.4 - Protecting Our Virgin also appears to only exist in ebook form.
Task 20.6 - Christmas in the Scot's Arms only appears to exist in ebook and audiobook form.

If you read the kindle edition of Dead to the World, you need to use the page number of the top MMPB - Dead to the World - 291 pages. 336 is not evenly divisible by 9.

Task 20.4 requires a "retelling" of a Shakespeare play. The GR description doesn't sound like it retells Othello, and the reference to "a certain Shakespeare play, " in context, states "In the tradition of The Talented Mr. Ripley, The Great Gatsby, and Harold Pinter's The Servant-not to mention a certain Shakespeare play about a creepy white dude obsessed with a black dude-" If you have some reference that shows that this actually is a retelling, as opposed to being in "the tradition" of several works, including Othello, please repost with that information.

task 5.10 - the description of Secret Worlds indicates that there are 250 photographs in this 160 page book. This actually sounds more like an art book - ""Coffee table", Art books, and other books consisting primarily of images or photographs without a substantial written component (essays, criticism, etc.) may not be claimed for points." If there are roughly 100 pages of text included, please repost explaining this.

FYI, when you are claiming a Golden Oldies ticket in future, please include the required information. From the Posting Requirements:
" If you want to claim a Golden Oldies or a Big Books ticket, you must specifically say so in your post - merely including a tally at the beginning or end of your post is not sufficient. Make sure to note "Golden Oldies," or "GO" or "Big Books ticket" or "BB ticket" in your post. The BB or GO claim must be made with the specific book posting - a list at the end or beginning of the post is not sufficient.
If you are claiming a GO ticket, you must include the year in which the book was first published in your post along with the book posting for the task."
Since you only posted one book in this post, and it was your first post, it was easy enough to figure out. No need to repost. In future, tho, please include the required information, and if there is more than one book in your post, be sure to indicate which book you are claiming a GO ticket for.
