It's a byproduct of the import process. Go ahead and remove it.

Combine. They should NOT be deleted.
The special characters are sometimes handled different by various import sources, which means they don't import properly, unfortunately. They should be fixed.

I noticed that a lot of old French books have been updated by Barnes & Noble in an ebook version, with only a BNID in place of ISBN13. They also have a ISBN10 in the book data, but I am not sure what this number is exacty, I never found any trace of them on ISBN databases.
One example is here:

In this case, there are four ebooks, with four different "ISBN", but they seem all to have been numerised from the same original book.
I have found several other cases like this, although I admit I haven't noted them all down.
A have a couple of questions on these cases:
1/ What is the number in the ISBN10 field?
2/ What should I do about these books? Merge or combine?
Also, as a last remark, I noticed that a lot of authors lost their special characters in their name during imports (such as é, è, etc.).Is that normal?
Thank you!
