Toby looked over at her to see what to do next," Alice now what?" He asked her

"Ohh I remember what to do now." He answered taking the bowl from her. "You know Alice I think that a lot of other people would have just done all of this for me and not let me try and figure it out on my own."
Toby smiled at her," Thank you Alice for that.. I honestly don't know what I would have done without you." He told her as he put his pie crust in the bowl.. "Alice I have a question." He said after a minute after he tried to remember something
To y made his dough even though it kind of looked like a kid made his," Did we ever cook together before I left?" He asked," I feel like I would remember something like that but I can't."
Toby nodded slightly," okay I remember some of that but I don't remember a lot of it.." He answered trailing off as he thought
"Yeah I know that, but I don't think it should be so hard to remember it. Like earlier Liam said something about your favorite flowers being tulips.. I knew that but I have a hard time remembering that stuff." He tried to explain
Tobias turned to look at her as he listened to her talk," I know that about you Alice but I don't want you to have to constantly be explaining something to me that I should know. " he sighed softly," You know when they found me I was so out of it all I kept saying was that I had to find you." He told her softly
"Hey hey please don't cry." He said moving over to her," I didn't say that to upset you." He said hugging her," I just wanted you to know."
Toby nodded a little bit and hugged her," Okay good, but I did just want to find you.. I was in Turkey when they found me and when I finally woke up I basically tore through the base hospital trying to find you.. At least that's what Kaden told me."
He nodded," Yeah that's where I was found, but I was in Pakistan when they got me." He explained
Toby shrugged a little bit," It's fine now.. I'm back here.. And it was a risk I knew I was taking when I joined the army."
Toby smiled slightly hugging her tightly and Reston his head on her shoulder
Toby chuckled softly and moved away from her," Maybe I should let you finish them both then." He told her
Tobias smiled a little bit as he watched her," Oh yeah I can do that." He answered looking at her," Does he usually sleep this long?" He asked.
Toby nodded a little bit," Okay then I'll just go check on him." He answered walking out of the kitchen and to Liam's room
Tobias walked into the little boys room and smiled a little seeing him go back to sleep. Toby sat down on the edge of his bed and tucked Liam in again being careful not to wake him
Toby smiled slightly down at him," What is it Liam?" He asked softly
He chuckled softly," Not tonight Liam but you can have a big bowl for dessert if you eat all your food."
Toby chuckled softly," well we aren't having anything with peppers because I don't like them either." He told Liam picking him up out of his bed
Toby hugged the little boy as she woke up," Yes really," he answered softly
Toby looked down at the bear Liam was showing him, "You named him after me? Well that was very thoughtful of you." he told the small boy
Toby smiled a bit, "You know Liam you are a very thoughtful little boy and I am very proud of you."
Toby smiled as he hugged Liam back,"Well thanks buddy.. But you are the best too."
Toby chuckled softly and nodded, "Sure we can buddy..Let's go see if its done first." he answered getting up with Liam still in his arms
Toby smiled a bit more and walked into the kitchen with him
Toby smiled at her," Look who decided to wake up." He said softly still holding the small boy close to himself. It was still a little hard for him to believe he had a son and how much time had really passed while he was locked up.
Toby smiled a bit as he held Liam. He guessed that the little boy was still sleepy since he didn't want to be out down just yet
Toby smiled as Liam didn't want to be out down. He glance over at Alice as he squeezed the little boy gently," He's fine Alice." She said softly totally surprised that Liam wanted to stay with him
Toby nodded," It's fine with me." He answered keeping Liam close to him and resting his cheek against the little boy's head
"Okay sounds good to me." Toby answered following after her," What movie should we watch Liam?" He asked
Toby laughed softly and shook his head a little bit," okay we can watch toy story.. I haven't watched that in a really long time." He answered
Toby grinned and followed after her with Liam. He sat down on the couch and shifted Liam so he was facing the TV but still in his lap
Toby shook his head," No I'm alright thank you." He answered settling Liam in his lap as the movie started. He looked towards the kitchen," Alice are you coming to watch with us?" He asked
"Okay I was just asking and making sure." He answered looking over at her and slipped his arm around her shoulders," Besides I just want to spend time with all of you."
Toby grinned a little bit and pulled both of them close to him," Well I'm glad because I don't know where I would be right now without you both."
Toby smiled at her and kissed her head softly," oops sorry buddy." He answered moving his arm so that Liam could see the movie
Toby just held the two of them close to him. He was so happy to be home with them. He had only been with them for a few days and he already couldn't think of anywhere else he would rather be
Toby smiled as he watched the movie with his little family. He sighed a little bit in contentment
Toby smiled a little bit," Are we eating in here or the kitchen?" He asked looking over at her
He shrugged," What should we do Liam?" He asked looking down at his son
Toby glanced over at Alice then back at Liam," Does you mom normally let you eat in the living room?" He asked not really sure if Alice was alright with it or not.
Toby smiled a bit as he listened to Liam stumble over what he was trying to say. He nodded a little bit," Okay then a little picnic in the living room won't hurt us so I think if your mom is alright with it we can eat and watch toy story." He answered looking at Alice with a smile
Toby grinned," alright," he answered," Liam go find a blanket please while Move the table."
Tobias chuckled softly and got up to move the table over for the blanket so they could all eat on the floor
Toby shook his head," nope got it." He answered as Liam ran back over to them.
Toby grinned a little while he and Liam set the blanket on the floor
Toby laughed softly and tickled Liam a little bit before stopping so they could all eat together," Yes it is.. It smells good doesn't it."
Toby grinned as he watched his son and girlfriend.. If that was still what Alice was to him.. He would ask her about that later.." I'm sure it tastes just as good as it did the first time you made it for me."
Toby looked over at her and nodded," of course I remember that." He answered thinking back to the very first time she had cooked chicken pot pie. He chuckled softly." Yes even though it was burnt sometimes and undercooked others." He answered," You know I think that is also the first time you ever had to take care of me too."
