Toby nodded a little bit, "I see, well you can tell him that I'm back now and I'm not going to leave you and your mommy again."

Toby smiled and nodded, "Yes I promise." He answered. "I pinky promise you that I won't leave." He told the little boy holding his own pinky out
Toby smiled at the little boy and put his arm around Liam
Toby shrugged," Im not sure why don't we both go wash our hands and see if she needs help?"
Toby put him on his feet and walked to the bathroom
Toby smiled a bit and went to wash his hands with his son.
Toby chuckled softly and grabbed Liam's hand," of course I'm ready." He answered," lead the way."
Toby chuckled and followed the little boy back into the kitchen
Toby chuckled softly as he watched their son. He smiled a bit at his explanation and nodded agreeing," he did
Toby grinned watching the two of them He nodded," I'm fine." He answered sitting down next to Liam
Toby started eating and gently pressed his knee against her leg
Toby looked over at her and was wondering what she was thinking. He smirked a little seeing her blushing
Toby moved his leg away from hers after a little bit. He didn't want to scare her off. He wasnt about to spend the rest of his life without her
Toby had been helping Liam with something but looked over at her as she looked up at him
Toby looked between the two of them," well I can help this time but if your mom says that you are big enough then you can do it," he said before getting him a scoop of eggs and putting it on his plate
Toby watched Liam for a second and suddenly grabbed the little boy and set him in his lap," How's this Liam?" He asked softly. Trying to figure out what Liam was tryin to get him to do
Toby kept one arm around Liam and watched him for a second before he started eating again.
Toby didn't see her looking at him because he was messing around with Liam. He had already finished his food and was now picking things off of Liam's plate chuckling softly
Toby glanced up at Alice and grinned at her. He tickled Liam gently
Toby chuckled softly and looked down at Liam," Whaty?"He asked then looked back up at Alice seeing her tears and reaching for her too
Toby moved him and Liam closer to Alice," She's crying because she's happy we are finally a family," he said softly hugging the little boy close to him
Toby smiled," I like it too Liam." He answered holding the little boy close to him
Toby chuckled softly," are you all done eating?" He asked looking down at Liam
Toby watched him," Listen to your mom and then we can go to the park together."
Toby chuckled softly and put Liam down and started to help Alice clear the table
Toby grinned back at her and was glad she hadnt shut him out of their lives. He continued to help her and as he did he thought that this was what he needed to forget all that happened while he was captured
Toby hugged her tightly and grinned," I'm so happy to be home." He said softly. He pressed his nose into her hair
Toby continued to hug her tightly," I love you Alice." He whispered kissing the top of her head
Toby smiled brightly." I never stopped loving you.. My commanding officer thinks that because I wanted to get home to you so badly that's why I survived for so long." He told her softly
Toby brought his hands up to her cheeks and wiped her tears away,"'I am too."'he said softly," because now I have you and Liam... But I promised him I wouldn't make you cry anymore." He said gently
Toby chuckled softly and grabbed her hands and pulled her close to him again," wait I have one more thing to tell you." He said leaning down to kiss her nose
Toby chuckled softly and leaned down to kiss her gently," this."
Toby kissed her softly and slid his fingers into her hair
Toby slid one hand down her back gently pressing her body against his as he kissed her lovingly
Toby pulled away from her just a little bit. He smiled at her," Just in case Liam comes back to find us."
Toby hugged her a bit," I love you."He whispered
Toby chuckled a bit and kissed her swiftly," I'm glad." He said softly looking over at Liam," Are you sure you are ready?" He asked," because I think you are missing something "
Toby looked at him carefully and squeezed Alice's hand before letting go and scooping Liam up Into his arms," You little boy are missing a smile." He answered tickling him
Toby laughed with him," I know you are." He answered a little before he stopped," See now you are all ready to go to the park." He told the boy in his arms," so are we walking or what?" He asked Liam
Toby nodded a little bit," Oh I see.. We can just walk that's fine." He said looking over at Alice. He wanted to tell her something about Liam so he could while they were walking
Toby watched the two of them get ready to go to the park. He smiled a little and took Alice's hand, "I'm ready." He answered
Toby chuckled softly and watched Liam," Im sure he will be fine Alice." He said softly
Toby nodded a little," I know but still." He answered when Liam was far enough away he said," I know why he was asking for help at the table."
Toby squeezed her fingers gently, "Think about it.... He didn't really have a dad the first five years of his life right?"
Toby shook his head a little, "It's nothing you could have done differently... You are the best mom that little boy could ask for. There are just some things that you cant do that I guess he wants from me."
Toby glanced over to see where Liam had gone, then he turned to Alice, "Hey, he's made it this far without me, and he's fine look at him. Liam just wants me to do all of the things he hears his friends say about their dads... It will all work out."
Toby smiled at her," Don't worry about it.. And I love you too." He said," Come on let's go catch up to Liam."
He walked with her still watching Liam as he rode around the park. Toby slipped his arm around Alice's shoulders," Hey Alice,"
Toby smiled a bit as she leaned up against him," do you think Liam is happy that I'm home?" He asked
