Toby laid down without another word," Alice... I really don't want to be in a hospital again." He said softly in an almost pleading way.

Toby nodded a little bit and sighed softly trying to not think about what she was doing
Toby nodded a little bit," It's okay." He whispered closing his eyes a little bit as she cleaned up his back and shoulder. He only flinched a little as she cleaned his scars with the alcohol.
Toby sighed softly as some of the pain left his shoulder and back," maybe they should have just sent me home to you after they found me."'
Toby took the glass from her and took a small drink." Ahhh to a dirty base to see what I could remember of the last five years other than being tormented."
"Ohh they patched me up a bit in the helicopter rid to the base then transported me to the Turkey hospital not that far from the army camp.... But it was hard for them.. I had scabs on top of scabs." He said softly
Toby looked at her and grinned crookedly. "I'm sure that Liam was a handful."
Toby laughed softly as he draped his arm around her," Ohh I've noticed. It's so strange to see him do something that I've done so many times and he's never seen me before these last few weeks."
Toby nodded slightly," that's true but it's still crazy to me that he is a lot like me."
Toby laughed softly," I'm sure you did... My parents know about him right Alice?" He asked
Toby nodded," Ohh that's great." He said softly. "I'm glad that you went to see them... I mean we should go see them soon."
He nodded a little bit,"if it's easier I can see if they will come here."
Toby nodded a little bit and sighed," Okay we will talk to them later get some sleep Alice."
Toby shrugged a little bit," fine I guess it still hurts a lot,"
"Well I thought I rested and healed it enough." He answered
"Yeah well tell that to all of my superiors." He answered sighing a little bit
Toby snuggled close to her," Thanks for taking care of me."
Toby smiled back and kissed her gently," Goodnight Alice." He whispered putting his arm around her slowly
Toby sighed softly as he fell asleep with her pulled close to him. He slept mostly well a little fitfully through the night
Toby woke really early still exhausted but couldn't get back to sleep. He looked at his sleeping girlfriend and smiled a little bit but wished he could sleep as peacefully as Alice was right then
Toby looked down at her as she moved closer to him. He smiled sleepily and looked back up at te ceiling as he just held her close
Toby heard Liam before he opened the door and looked into the room. He smiled at his son as he stayed curled up around Alice letting her sleep
Toby rolled slightly so he was more or less facing Liam," hey buddy... You want up here with us for a little bit?" He asked
Toby smiled as he watched Liam climb up into bed with him and Alice. He tucked the small boy against his chest between him and Alice. "Are you still sleepy?" He asked softly wanting to let Alice sleep for as long as she needed
Toby shrugged a little bit," Because my shoulder hurts," he answered putting his arm around Liam
Toby smiled a little bit," no I'll be alright for now Liam." He said softly,"but thank you for wanting to take care of me."
He nodded." I'm not going to leave buddy I'm here with you forever." He answered hugging him a little bit

Toby smiled and hugged Liam tightly," I love you too Liam." He said softly kissing the top of his head
Toby nodded," Sure you can... Do I get to come with you?" He asked
Toby laughed softly and nodded," alright then." He said getting up and scooping Liam up,with him
"Shh buddy." He said softly walking out of his room
Toby chuckled softly and walked into the living room," go get the remote." He whispered looking at Liam
Toby sat down next to Liam with a smile and was careful of his shoulder since it was still hurting almost as much as it had been when he was actually getting the sounds there in the first place. "Alright Liam what is on first?" He asked
Toby laughed softly," Liam this was on when I was a kid." He said pulling the little boy into his lap. " you know I think this calls for a breakfast snack." He said
Toby laughed softly and nodded," Okay well I'm glad you think I'm the best Liam." He answered getting up and setting him back down on the couch," I'll be right back
Toby walked into the kitchen and got them both some milk and cut up a few apples and got some grapes and raspberries from the fridge
Toby sat down next to him with the bowl of fruit after putting the two cups of milk on the coffee table
Toby nodded a little bit," you're welcome." He answered eating a few grapes himself and watching the tv
Toby kept the bowl in his lap as he watched the cartoons with Liam. He was very careful in his movements as he was eating and slightly hoping that he would be fine by the time Alice woke up
Toby looked over at her," Well good morning sleeping beauty." He said," Come sit with us." He said patting the seat next to him on the couch
Toby smiled at her," It's still hurts but I'm alright," he answered shrugging a little bit
Toby nodded a little bit," If you feel you must... I suppose having you look at my shoulder wouldn't hurt." He said softly
Toby glanced at her and nodded a little bit," Yeah." He answered turning slightly so she could pull on his shirt. He glanced at Liam and hoped he would stay just as he was while Alice was looking at his shoulder
Toby nodded slightly," Good it feels a little better but not too much." He said softly leaning back against the couch
Toby watched her leave as sighed softly. If his superiors had just had the sense to send him to alive like he wanted then he would be all fixed up already and now have to be fixed up again
Toby nodded a little bit," Okay good." He answered taking the medicine from her ad the glass before actually taking the pills
Toby laughed softly," I'm not a dog." He teased her back reaching to grab her around the waist and then stopped at the twinge in his arm.
"Yeah I just moved to fast I think or in the wrong way." He answered looking over at her with a small smile
"Would that mean you bein my nurse?" He asked slowly slipping his arm around her as he leaned back on the couch.
