Leilin (leilinbooks) | 1787 comments Done, they were ACEs so I used the page counts of the original editions rather than the ones found on Amazon (since those would be the page counts of the Kindle editions only)

In the future, you should go to the publisher's site and use the page counts found there for the matching cover and ISBN. Data from other editions shouldn't simply be copied between editions. In this case the page counts match what is on the publisher's site, so it's fine. But it's not unusual for page counts to change with the release of a new cover.

Leilin (leilinbooks) | 1787 comments I thought that the ISBN would change if the book formatting was altered on a new edition and that as a consequence it would not be the case for ACEs. My mistake, I will do as you said from now on: thank you!

Sometimes the ISBN does change, but a lot of the time it doesn't, so it's best to check.

I've seen a lot of ebooks that have had a cover change with the same ISBN plus the addition of some bonus content which changes the page count, so just thought I'd mention it.
