City of Glass
question
Is Swedish House Mafia's song "Don't You Worry Child" based on this book???

After listening to this song I found many similarities to the scene at Lake Lyn in the book.
"I hear the songs
From the places where I was born."......Idris
"Upon a hill across a blue lake,
That's where I had my first heartbreak.
I still remember how it all changed.".....Lake Lyn
"Don't you worry, don't you worry, child.
See heaven's got a plan for you.
Don't you worry, don't you worry now.".. Valentine talking to Jace.
"There was a time
I met a girl of a different kind.".....Jace and Clary

Wow. That almost does make you wonder rather or not it was supposed to be about the book or not.
The book and song came out in different years. Makes it very improbable.
The group said it was inspired by the beauty of Australia. Sorry. It's a nice thought though.
It really makes me wonder if the song was inspired by the book. That is a good question to ponder on.
