Luke, Christopher or Max?

Luke definitely! Even from the first episode you could tell they were made for each other. They always had this chemistry between each other.

Luke, or at least Luke when he's not acting like a jerk (in season six/seven). But boy, oh boy, did Max Medina work that floppy-haired academic look!
Luke. He is always there for Lorelai but he is also grumpy and I felt like every season at some point Lorelai didn't want to go to the diner because of some fight they had.Chris. I felt like he was really immature. He seemed more like her childish friend which is weird since they had a kid together.
Max. He was so sweet and caring and he really loved Lorelai and Rory. He also loved books!!!! I would like a Max!
I guess Luke since Lorelai cared about him the most. He was the one she called when she needed help. He was the one who helped her raise Rory. He was always there.
how is this even a question. luke is endgame for SURE. max and christopher were character development and nothing more!

Luke, no doubt. They were always meant to be together, it's just that he let things get in the way and he kind of had commitment issues but I'm glad they finally got married in the end.

luke OBVIOUSLY, i really like max tho but christopher sucks i hate him so much like he’s literally the worst character such a bad parent and a bad person in general
luke, but only in the end. if christopher wouldn't get sheri pregnant then I would probably be team chris because he was the right man for her then. obv he became unbearable in the later seasons, but at that time he was perfect for her. something with max just didn't sit right with me, and we saw too little of them together for them to get married. but the first time lorelai and luke happened I hated it, it felt super forced and then the stuff with april happened and luke acted like an asshole so that definitely made me like him less. but at the end, I think luke was the right guy for lor
always luke! max was sweet but not right for lorelei, christopher and lorelei made a cute couple but luke was the only one who ever truly understood her, and showed up every time lorelei needed him. there were some communication issues just like in all lorelei’s relationships, but luke was genuine, and loyal to a fault. team luke forever <3

Definitely Luke but I also liked max a lot
Honestly, Lorelai and Chris were always meant to be together. i feel like Luke took waaaaay too much crap from Lor (constantly), and that made them become worse together. However, Christopher actually knew Lorelai inside and out, and they worked well together.

luke hands down is the best. he helped raised rory when chris wasn't there!!

I don't know, why I always want Christopher for Lorelei. But Max was placed seamlessly in the story and you can just go for him right there and then but then it's a happily ever after, the end already and there's no fun in that. ;)
Christopher, I might be missing something because everybody hates him. In gilmore girls it’s either you’re team Jess or Logan or maybe even Tristan. But everything collectively agrees that the only man for Lorelai is Luke. I don’t have anything against Luke my perspective of him changed when they went on a trip with Logan and Rory. Also it might be my parental issues talking that’s why I wanted Christopher to be back in the picture because the 3 of them looked so cute together.
For me, the reasoning is found in the core of Lorelai's personality. She was afraid of commitment. I think that she chose to latch onto Christopher because she knew that he would never happen. She could blame him, or at least the idea that they would someday get together (as I believe she did in a season two episode) for sabotaging her other relationships, when really, she was simply afraid of a relationship lasting.
This is also why it took her so long to let herself acknowledge her feelings for Luke. She knew that, as Rory said in Raincoats and Recipes, when she got with Luke, she was going to be WITH Luke. She knew that he was her IT. Deep down, Lorelai knew it. And it scared her.
Also, as for when Luke and Lorelai's relationship went sour in the second half of season 6, I chock that up to ASP trying to sabotage the show. She and her husband had wanted a two-year contract and a few other demands, that were denied them by the network. I think the way Luke started to ignore/not appreciate Lorelai was so extremely out of character for him. He had been completely devoted to Lorelai from day one, and then suddenly he ignores her and keeps secrets from her? They did it to make it more difficult for the new writers and show runners to continue on. For me, Gilmore Girls ended with The Prodigal Daughter Returns, minus the Luke/April storyline introduction. After that, the series imploded.
