I have finished William Makepeace Thackeray (post 75). I think that I will try P.G. Wodehouse next...
I see a light at the end of the tunnel. Two more books to go. While I do like a good crime novel, I have come to realize I like variety in my book list. I added Whose Body? by Dorothy L Sayers. See post 52.
Whew, I am almost finished with my Thomas Hardy name challenge. I just have one more to go. I have updated my list at post #51.

Nice strategizing, Rhonda and Joan! Congratulations, Rhonda!
You can do it, Joan. Only one more! Thomas Hardy is such a good author; he's a good choice for a name.
I have 3 difficult letters left to read: Z, Y and N. I need to buckle down, if I'm going to get it done.
Updated message 46 Completed 15/21 mmmm can I get through last 6 of planned reads by Jan 1st or do I need to do some swaps.... ?
Updated msg 22. Swapped out my last for this challenge, because I'm not going to get to Out of Africa this year. In it's place I put in a book of poetry I read last month, Original Fire. I loved some of the poems, but not all. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...I ended up using two Louise Erdrich books for this challenge, but finally spelled F-A-Y W-E-L-D-O-N. :-)

Finally finished. I read the last book, In The Blood by Lisa Unger, to complete the challenge. I did the challenge a little differently, using the author's last name as well as only crime/thriller fiction for my focus. I did this in honor of Sue Grafton. It was fun to read all the different styles under this category, but I can't wait to read some historical fiction next.See post 52
Finally, my name attained the beauty and awe I always dreamt of, thanks to your compelling challenge. One long brilliant, experimental, and passioante year it was. So it is with a lot of pride and a little relief I share my Read the Name challenge list:

I - 'I' Poetry Collection
K - Kidnapped by Robert Stevenson
