Hi! I've been playing piano since I was five and cello since I was seven. I like to read YA< LGBTQ+ fiction, recreational math books, fantasy, middle-grade books, etc, but I've been trying to branch out lately. Hopefully, this group will help me do that! I write a lot of sonnets nowadays, with my own personal structure that I like to call "Kylerian sonnets", but I'll hold up on posting any of them until I submit them to this one scholarship I'm going for, in case they think I'm plagiarizing :x

Hi Kyler! That is awesome that you play cello and piano!! I play piano too, but I’m not very good. I only took lessons in middle school and a little into high school. I play almost every night though because it’s so fun.Hahaha Sam, my voice could break mirrors too I’m sure lmao. My son tells me to stop whenever I sing 😂

Currently, I'm reading Things to Make and Do in the Fourth Dimension by Matt Parker, but I also got a math coloring book, The Indisputable Existence of Santa Claus by Hannah Fry, and My Best Mathematical and Logic Puzzles by Martin Gardner.

Thought I would pop in and say hi! I used to play piano...I was never good at it to be honest but I never practiced like I should have either hahaha! I have really lame hobbies compared to you guys!!

I uh...watch Netflix, sleep...read sometimes...random game sites online...cuddle the guy that was my boyfriend but isn't currently...I have no hobbies haha!
I love Netflix! and sleeping! and of course, I find reading quite fascinating! I would definitely count those as hobbies, since you do them for fun in your spare time. :)
Hey, those are my hobbies too Melani lol. Kyler, I'm sure you'll always enjoy playing piano even after the cello is your main focus! It's just so fun and relaxing to play. Like I said, I'm really not very good, but there are a few songs that I've worked hard to be good at and I play them all the time. My husband is so sick of hearing them haha, but it never gets old for me.
I just don't have any fascinating hobbies like you guys seem to have haha! I'm in the process of refinding out who I am after losing myself in this relationship to my soon to be ex husband.
Melani, I'm glad you're getting out a relationship that wasn't good for you, which I can guess based on your comment. I recommend paint by numbers. I love that stuff. Right now I'm doing starry night!Elizabeth, I love that you're continuing playing those songs even though your husband gets annoyed! My friend used to always play tarantella to the point where I was slightly fed up, but I never told her, because she always looked so happy when she played it! I did skip that piece when it came up in my book, though :)
Kyler- lol I'm sure you did. I can remember learning a simplified version of tarentella in my lesson books and I can see why you might get sick of hearing that after a while.Melani- It's so hard and depressing sometimes, but it feels good to start feeling yourself again. Back in 2012 I left a long-term relationship and didn't even know what to do with myself anymore, but once I finally started seeing friends and doing things I enjoyed again, I was so happy. Now I have a baby and a 2.5 year old, and I'm kind of back to feeling like I'm losing myself again. So that's kind of why I make sure to keep reading and playing piano I guess.

Hi I’m sonja, my favorite books are basically all Harry Potter and twilight books. My favorite genres are fantasy, fiction, and romance. I ride horses, and am obsessed with horses and german Shepherds, I’m also a really relaxed and easy person to talk to :)that’s me in a snapshot basically :)

Hi Sonja! German shepherds are such great dogs. I had one named Nakita growing up, and then a second named Kaiser that my mom adopted when I was just starting college. Do you own horses or just ride them somewhere else? I’ve always wanted to take riding lessons 😍
I don’t have horses right now, but I’m looking into getting one, and yes I do have dogs. The german Shepherd is named Apollo, and then I have a tiny mutt named Olaf

Kyler- Thank you! Yeah its been...something. I may have to see into the paint by numbers. I can't remember the last time I did one of those. Elizabeth- I have plans to hang out with friends today and do a game day. We will see how it goes. I have a "friend" that is coming and bringing her boyfriend and I think she is more coming to flirt with my soon to be ex husband more then actually hang out with me. But I guess we will find out.

I think that a lot of you can relate to this: I buy waaaay to many books... I play guitar (try to, because I'm really bad at it) and I love to draw.

Hi Anne :)You should be able to edit your profile if you wish...there’s an “edit profile” next to your name if you are looking at your own page. Click on that and halfway down shows “country” and you can change it from there.
@Allie Thank you, I changed the settings! Now everything is all set!@ Sam I'm still at highschool (did I phrase it correctly or is it "on highschool"?). I don't study one thing specifically, but a couple of courses I follow for example are physics, chemistry, biology and Latin. Next week I will have a workshop Anatomy and I'm so excited about that!!
@Sam it was mostly fun but my "friend" did flirt with my ex, and now he's trying to win me back and that part of my life is a mess. @Ann I totally relate don't ask me how many books I have that I still need to read and yet I can reread Harry Potter but not pick up one of the million books I bought recently. haha!

@Yes, I've heard of it! As a matter of fact recently downloaded it and I'm pretty darn curious! I have not seen it yet (so little time) but have you? And if you did, do you recommend it?
