eftersera,always thought that the image of n.m.a,, the slade the leveller guise, the fact that their fans produced wonderfully detailed images on their leather jackets, kind of over-rode what they actually sounded like, but hey!

Nice trip down memory lane, my best mate was a big fan. He must've played them quite a bit because I knew most of the songs. Bit sad really as Iost touch with him when he moved to Wales/Scotland, before mobile phones and the internet, just hope he hasn't got a noisy neighbour who's into reggae big styley! ;-)

The battle for the silver has been won by Vagabonds, nominated by Lez, and sharing the lower step on the podium, TheFoe and Sj with The Hunt and Green And Grey.
Good round that one, I was surprised by how many songs I recognised and never knew they were by this band.
Yeah not bad thanks, liked your fox story on another thread. The closest I've been to a fox, is when one walked out of a bush where I was standing, (waiting for a lift years ago). It was pitch black and scared the brown stuff out of me to be honest. Lovely animals though, if not a bit stinky! Hope you're well? :-)

It was pitch blac..."Loads of foxes where I am...but this one appears fairly regularly...as we do put out food for the little birdies..fat balls and seeds and wotnot. I think, ever since the little fellah wandered into my shed a few months ago..and just stood there looking at me... & we gave it food as he was a little thin, I guessed he's thinks he if hard up..he can slink into our garden, wait a few minutes and get a free meal from me! :)

When we lived for a short time on the Wirral, we often saw urban foxes. One night we were walking back after visiting friends and two young women ran out of their flat, scared because they’d found a young fox in their kitchen. My husband threw a sheet over it and shooed it out the back door. Not seen any here for a couple of years since they built 40 houses on the wasteland at the back of my house 😡😠
