Rinelle Grey (rinellegrey) | 13 comments I'm having trouble changing the series names on the new editions of my books. I added the series into the title field when I created them, and it's listed there, but it's not translating across to the series page. If I click on 'add a series', it drops me to the main goodreads page. Not sure if this is an error, of if it's because I can't change the series?

I'm only trying to change the series name on the new editions, no the older ones. You can see the books all listed here on Amazon under the new and correct series. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07...

The last two books are correctly labelled. Both Prince Taurian and Prince Verrian have never been part of another series, while Bringing Christmas to the Dragons and Dragon's Cowboy have, and have since been changed.

Books in the Return of the Dragons Series:
Bringing Christmas to the Dragons Prince Taurian: Dragon Ruins Compilation Dragon's Cowboy Prince Verrian: Dragon Echoes Compilation Narrian: Discovering his Dragon Wrong Side of the Dragon

That is because it already exists as a series. You have to go the series page to make changes to series title. https://www.goodreads.com/series/1656...
I have made the change right now.

You don't need to add series name into the title field of a book. When the book is added to a series, the Goodreads page for the book automatically shows the series name in parentheses.

It's because authors can't edit or add to series: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... You just have to post here when that is necessary.

It looks to me that new series have to be created as the new one has new works and it's not the same numbering.

Done: https://www.goodreads.com/series/2207...

Is/was Bringing Christmas to the Dragons available somewhere outside amazon as ebook? If not, then format have to be changed to Kindle.

Rinelle Grey (rinellegrey) | 13 comments Thanks!

Yes, Bringing Christmas to the Dragons is also available on ibooks and nook, as well as sites like instafreebie.

Ayshe | 3084 comments It's fine then. Just FYI, you can add ebooks' EANs in the ISBN 13 field when creating new editions:
for Nook editions - starting with 294
for Kobo - starting with 123

The edit page will give warning that it is invalid ISBN, but it will keep it.
