Top five episode for sure. One sweet scene definitely not in the books was a welcome addition. The "return" of some old friends was a fine touch as well. :)

That is neat. I didn't realize they were filling in scenes where there were gaps in the books. Like getting the original and a nice parallel variation all in the same show. Sounds like it was epic. :)

For me, the after gap books were hit or miss... especially when the 2nd generation took the stage(there was a lot, especially in terms of "endings" I strongly disliked). The major highlight for me was when Caroline recommended a certain new book to Demelza.

At the very least, your reading group is getting a variety. I'm hoping to read some more classics in the new year. Not sure it will be ones of those, though. LOL
Good one Sophia. Decided today I'm going to write out a list of classics and read them in the new year. There's a few I've been meaning to tackle for some time.

Indeed it is Chelsea, great catch. I don't have any in that series so I missed it. For some reason, I just can't seem to get into the character descriptions in the blurbs. Oh well, I have plenty to tempt me as it is. Thanks again for alerting others of this deal.
