Liz Treacher is a group member here, and she's written a pair of fantastic books. The Wrong Direction was just released, and it's a sequel to The Wrong Envelope. The latter is on sale for 99¢ until December 1. Set in 1920, The Wrong Envelope is a light, witty love story between a London artist and a Devon post lady. Some of you have it in your TBR list, so this is a perfect time to snag it.

I have it on my "2018 Best Books" shelf. Highly recommend.

While I welcome Season 5, especially since I've read that it will be going where there was a 10 yr gap in the books, last night could have easily been the series finale. Top five episode for sure. One sweet scene definitely not in the books was a welcome addition. The "return" of some old friends was a fine touch as well. :)

That is neat. I didn't realize they were filling in scenes where there were gaps in the books. Like getting the original and a nice parallel variation all in the same show. Sounds like it was epic. :)

Yes!! For me, the after gap books were hit or miss... especially when the 2nd generation took the stage(there was a lot, especially in terms of "endings" I strongly disliked). The major highlight for me was when Caroline recommended a certain new book to Demelza.

Yes indeed!!! Caroline mentions that it is 'by a lady', which is why it is so good....Hardy and Edith "I never met an unhappy ending I didn't want to write" Wharton!
