Cherie (crobins0) | 21536 comments I read her blogs sometimes. She can be very funny, but she is very smart too! Was the book book, TJ?

Tejas Janet (tejasjanet) | 3513 comments I'm new to the Felicia Day fan club : ) I really enjoyed her memoir. Very personable, entertaining, and inspiring. I didn't know she had a group on GR, but I might check it out tho romance is not generally a genre of choice for me. I think I burned out on them from overdosing on them in my teen years, LOL.

Cherie (crobins0) | 21536 comments She was in a TV show on the Sci-Fi channel several years ago. I cannot think of the name of it. She was not a regular at first, but was in several episodes. The sheriff lived in an underground house that was managed by an AI. His daughter was named Cloie. Strange things were always happening. It was on for 5 or 6 seasons.

She also had a gamer/role playing show and was on a panel with Wil Wheaton on the Internet. My daughter, Amy, used to read her blog posts all of the time.

Thank you, Renee, for coming up with the name of the show!
I forgot to ask my granddaughter when I got home last night. She loved it too.

The group is Vaginal Fantasy Book Club. I'm a lurking member. I like to keep tabs on what they're reading so I can add them to my burgeoning wishlist. They tend to do more Paranormal Fantasy than Happy Ever After Romance, though it's often a mix of genres.

Rusalka (rusalkii) | 19219 comments Vaginal Fantasy introduced me to a whole heap of urban fantasy I would have stayed the hell away from otherwise. I like the mix of genres and the honesty about them.

Felicia is also in Buffy, Supernatural, Dollhouse, Dr Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog, along with heaps of cameos/one episodes, I particularly remember a Lie to Me episode. And her internet series The Guild (Janice, you may like this if you haven't seen it).

I am a huge fangirl.

Janice (jamasc) | 60011 comments It's on Netflix, Rusalka. I will check it out. Thanks for the tip.

Right - Urban fantasy is another genre Virginal Fantasy focuses on.

Renee (elenarenee) | 1650 comments I am amazed that so many of you are also in that group. I always get surprised at how small a wolrd we live in.

message 64: by Tejas Janet (new)

Tejas Janet (tejasjanet) | 3513 comments I know I'm late to the party, so to speak, but I'm excited to have "found" Felicia Day. I'll be starting asap on her different series. The Guild first, I think. Then Eureka. Off to check on VF group...
