I'm in a suburb of Chicago. We had it near 60 on Monday, I think. The weather has been so up and down. Above average for the most part, so far, but we did have snow flurries one day last week or the week before!

I can take Indiana. I'm about to start A Dark and Stormy Murder by Julia Buckley (Sorry about not having links. I am on my phone.)
Put me in for Pennsylvania I started listening to this one last night:
Lisa ScottolineI am still working on North Carolina should finish that by Saturday
I finished this book yesterday: It started in Florida, moved to a boat on the Gulf and then ended back in Florida. If that works for you check off Florida also:
Nick Schuyler 11/29/17
Bev - unfortunately, you can only work one book/state at a time and you cannot claim a book after you have finished it. You must currently reading the book. So once you finish your North Carolina come back and claim another one.

Mississippi please. I'm reading
by Jesmyn Ward. I was about three pages in and ready to abandon it, but I've forged on and I think I'm committed. It is pretty gritty!
Connie N. wrote: "I can take Alaska with Christmas Nights by J.H. Croix."I just started reading that one today!
I finished my visit to Arizona:Caramel Crush (Cupcake Bakery #9), by Jenn McKinlay, finished 12/2 ★★★★
It looks like Connecticut is still available, so I'll take that with Death in the Stacks, also by Jenn McKinlay. The book is due back at the library on Friday, so I need to get busy and read!
I've finished Charlatans by Robin Cook 12/5/17. I can take Pennsylvania with One Perfect Lie by Lisa Scottoline if it's still available.
Thanks JoAnne! Glad you loved it. Both her series have really high ratings. I may need to look into them.

Do you have to have read the Jane Yellowrock series before reading the Soulwood series? I heard is was a spin-off of sorts.

There is only one regular character that was in the Jane series that is in the Soulwood series besides Nell and his character's background gets explained.
I can take Washington state with Catalogue of Death by Jo Dereske. I'll let you know when I've finished.
I finished my Missouri book: If Fried Chicken Could Fly. I can take Montana with The Christmas Letter by Kathi Daley
Finished my book for Connecticut:Death in the Stacks (Library Lover's #8), by Jenn McKinlay, finished 12/8 ★★★.5
I can take Michigan with Bowled Over, by Victoria Hamilton.
Great Barb!! Hitting all the states is so much easier when you are reading as a group. It took me so long to finish this by myself.
It sure is :) I don't think I ever managed to hit all 50 states in one year of reading, so I gave up trying LOL

I think it will take me 3 years to complete the individual 50 states challenges.

I'm working since 2015 on one of those... still 9 states to go, but the one I'm reading for this one (Vermont) will help me there as well
