Kathryn (an80slady6886) | 548 comments I'm in a suburb of Chicago. We had it near 60 on Monday, I think. The weather has been so up and down. Above average for the most part, so far, but we did have snow flurries one day last week or the week before!

Damaged (Rosato & DiNunzio, #4) by Lisa Scottoline Lisa Scottoline

I am still working on North Carolina should finish that by Saturday

I finished this book yesterday: It started in Florida, moved to a boat on the Gulf and then ended back in Florida. If that works for you check off Florida also:
Not Without Hope by Nick Schuyler Nick Schuyler 11/29/17

Jan | 20733 comments Bev - unfortunately, you can only work one book/state at a time and you cannot claim a book after you have finished it. You must currently reading the book. So once you finish your North Carolina come back and claim another one.

This one is more law enforcement of paranormals. The Jane Yellowrock is about vampires. I love Nell and Jane.

message 84: by Jan, Moderator (new)

Jan | 20733 comments Do you have to have read the Jane Yellowrock series before reading the Soulwood series? I heard is was a spin-off of sorts.

message 85: by JoAnne (new)

JoAnne | 490 comments Jan wrote: "Do you have to have read the Jane Yellowrock series before reading the Soulwood series? I heard is was a spin-off of sorts."

No. When I started reading Soulwood, I did not remember Jane meeting her. There is only one regular character that was in the Jane series that is in the Soulwood series besides Nell and his character's background gets explained.

Hitting all the states is so much easier when you are reading as a group. It took me so long to finish this by myself.

message 94: by Barb (new)

Barb | 1621 comments It sure is :) I don't think I ever managed to hit all 50 states in one year of reading, so I gave up trying LOL

I'm working since 2015 on one of those... still 9 states to go, but the one I'm reading for this one (Vermont) will help me there as well
