"You can't build a house without nails and wood. If you don't want a house built, hide the nails and wood. If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. Let him forget there is such a thing as war."

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury has 158 pages and is dystopian fiction.
This book is about a fireman named Guy Montag. His job is to go to people houses and burn them if they have books. One day he goes into a house and the resident had books , but didn't want to leave. She wanted to die in the fire. This changed Montag's perception of what he was doing is wrong. He asked the head of fire department why books are band. He said "They can make people do very violent things and influence bad minds."He soon becomes interested in books and even has some of his own. He makes sure to keep a secret, so his house won't burn down.
I would rate this book 3.5 out of 5 because I liked it but it was not one of my favorite books. It had good storyline that was fun to follow through the book. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fire or dystopias. It is a good book for discussing what would happen in a dystopian society.
