Thank you! The Beekeeper's Apprentice is next up for my IRL book club, so that makes things easy. :-)

LaurLa's Bookopoly Shelf

Thanks LaurLa! I'll read The Last Night at Tremore Beach -->

(and thanks for the "endorsements" for Uprooted and Sabriel, Tien :)
I will pick Sabriel this time because it is on my LOST list and is also one that I can read for Wheel of Bookshelves Round 1.

Thanks, CBell. That's a good varied selection. I will to have to think about it...and see which ones my library has in.
I have landed on Cry No More. Would someone please pick three books for me to consider from my Bookopoly shelf?

Hi Bea! How about:
The Woman Who Died a Lot
Lincoln in the Bardo
The Sea of Monsters
I hope this is not cheating. I am going with Lincoln in the Bardo. I started it early this morning (2:30a) and have read only 16 pages. Could another mod rule on whether I can continue with this choice?

I'm going to leave it to Tien to give the final word. It seems reasonable to me but a touch iffy. Maybe you could just quickly skim those 16 pages, so it will be as though you'd started over?

Thanks, Susan and Tien. I will do that. I haven't read any more in it yet...so skimming the first few pages will help me get right back into it.

Fatal Strike - because it is a standalone
Endgame - because you are already at book 6
The Siren - a new series

Thanks, Lusie!! I'll go with Endgame because it's the last of the series and I love the sense of accomplishment I get when I finish a series!
