Part of a series?
Anything about the cover?
Time period/location story takes place?

Tab, I would say it was geared towards late teens and not likely part of a series. I don't remember the period being a big part of the story, so likely an 80's USA setting. I honestly can't remember anything about the cover.
I appreciate any and all leads; this group is awesome!
Lisa, you'd be AMAZED at what makes it onto "best" lists, especially those compiled by non-critics. So I'd check out that link, just to be on the safe side.

Thanks!

I'd like to say that as a new member to the site, this has already turned up more than the last few weeks worth of searching databases. If only I could find one that has character names as one of the parameters.
Some of the books here on GR have character names. It just depends on how dedicated the GR Librarians are about going back in and putting the names in. But considering how many books there are, and how much work the Librarians do, not sure that we'll ever get all of the names attached to the books.

Tab, I'm not sure this will help, as it's vague; (view spoiler)
You can see a list of character names on GR, sort of. If you're willing to page through hundreds or thousands of pages. They're in alphabetical order:
https://www.goodreads.com/characters/
If you'd like the list to be better organized, or searchable, or at least be able to search it one letter at a time, join the Feedback Group and ask for it. It's a feature widely ignored by GR staff....

Oh, I didn't know that. Try using Google to search these Goodreads character pages:
Google search -- site:www.goodreads.com/characters/ "name of my character" (add more search terms, if possible)

If anything else comes to mind about the book I'm looking for, I'll be sure to add it here.

Thanks again, everyone, for all of the helpful suggestions!

-- Actually, I just googled a bit more and apparently one of her personalities IS called Kay! I found a Kirkus review which says: "Back in 1974, four-year-old Laurie Kenyon was abducted from her posh New Jersey home by Bic and Opal Hawkins, a pair of hippies who raped and terrorized her for two years before the heat got so close they turned her loose. Now she's an honor student at Clinton College who unwittingly harbors four personalities--sexy Leona, truculent Kay, four-year-old Debbie, and a nine-year-old boy--that she's developed to keep her childhood memories at bay."

Kindest regards,
Jason

Sibs by F. Paul Wilson? The main character's name is Kara. It deals with (view spoiler) .

This was likely published by Zebra in the 80's or early 90's during their horror heydays. After having exhausted my search capabilities, I'm stretching for some help here. Anything is appreciated, thanks!
