I've reached my goal of 40. I didn't complete all of the categories in any section, and I read some books for each of the sections. I haven't paid much attention to this challenge for the last few months because I've been concentrating on completing challenges in another group.

I set a goal of 40 and am up to 49! I love this challenge and how it stretches me. I'm reading War and Peace in another group, but at 1400 pages I thought maybe I could count it for my classic read for the 2018 VT Challenge as it will take me most of 2018 to finish it! 🤣
My original goal was 13, soon expanded to 26 books. I finished that goal, and have now read 32 books, with another in progress.
I've read 79 so far, which is many more than I thought I would complete. I just need 1 more book to get through "Committed."
It sounds like the challenge got some people to read more than they would have without the challenge. The challenge helps me to read more of a variety of books.
I finished 85 from the challenge, and then I got distracted by some other reading and didn't end up finishing. I did finish all the categories but the "obsessed", and I noticed that all the ones that I "skipped" are my least favorite categories--the ones that would have stretched me the most as a reader. This year, I'm going to try to go through the list mostly in order to make sure that I hit all the books.
I managed to finish the Light category this time with all 13 books and then 8/13 books in the Avid category!
