ABANDONED. Paranormal Romance: Hero’s ex-lover follows heroine; not sure if they were vampires or wolf shifters

This is going to be pretty vague. I can’t remember much. What I do remember is the heroine left with someone she trusted, but the exlover thought something was off so she followed them. It turned out the guy she went with was a bad guy. The exlover lady was sort of over the hero or heroes (I am not sure if there was one or two) she had found another man who loved her she just had to get over some feelings. I am not sure if they were vampires or wolf shifters.

That rings a bell... but I really can't remember which bell!

I keep getting side tracked to a Valkyrie character named Soleil in The Lost Wolf - which is def not your book. But she leads me to a vampire(?) called Victoria(?) in another book I can't remember who I think matches your search. Not sure if she was a long term friend-w-benies or actually in love with the guy/s. Ah... can't place it, but I'll try and keep it in mind and see if I can follow it later.

If it helps, I get the feeling I've reading it in just the last year or two, but that leaves a few hundred books. It's likely a cheap or free and def available on iBooks.

Haha! That is the same with me I know I have read it in the 1-5 years, but I read several books a week, and they all get jumbled in my brain.

Could it be a book. The Mating? These are shifter books . I remember something similar. If you not though, they are good books... lol

I do remember that someone else loved the heroes ex, but he wasn’t high enough in the pecking order so the woman didn’t want to commit to him. I think she loved him but she wanted the hero. Once the heroine came into the picture she turned towards the man who loved her, but she wasn’t very kind to him. The part I remember most is the heroine left and Heroes Ex was suspicious so she followed...in turn this made the man who loved her suspicious. He thought she may have been following the heroine to hurt her or pick a fight so he followed. When he caught up I believe... he found the heroes ex fighting some men who were trying to kidnap the heroine.
