I slowly stir and sit up, blinking.

I cut a long strip of fabric of my shirt, and make a blindfold. No need to waist energy to unnecessary senses. It takes me a few moments to come to terms with my new senses, but eventually I can feel everything. I can even label some things.Ruby, sitting. Mae, standing still. Zaynah, ready to run. Ugly 1 and 2, looking for me. I can even feel their pulse. It feels weird and at the same time natural.
(Why am I standing still? Was I sucked under ground or are you just doing a Toph move?)
(I'm doing a Toph, Hades style :P)
I feel Ugly 1 and 2 advancing on Mae, and look for the fastest way to help her. And UP! I launch Mae into the air, and over Ugly 1 and 2. "Now run, you idiot. I'll get the hostages to a safe place." I mutter, as I start looking for the unknown people.
I start running towards Zaynah and Ruby, and we stand together. I say a pile of rocks moving towards the shadow portal Maj had opened. I heard a rumbling behind me, and I turn around to see Celia rising from a cloud of smoke. The smoke reached out and surrounded Ruby, like a constrictor and its prey. "Ruby!" I shout, but I just hear her muffled moans coming from the smog. I start stepping towards her, but I trip over something. I look down to see greenish smoke around my feet. The smoke trailed back to Catherine, who had the smoke escaping her palms.
I use the existing tunnels to walk around the room, and pop up near a girl with blond curls. I remove my blindfold, and softly coo her hands away from here eyes."Who are you?" she asks me when she looks at me. "You look funny."
"I'm Maj. You look kinda funny too. Who are you?"
"Gwen. My big sister is coming to get me." She says.
"Your big sister is Mae, isn't she?" When Gwen nods, I continue. "I'm going to get you out of here, OK?" She does, and I drag her into the tunnel.
We walk until we're directly below the other energy-blob that I don't know. I open the tunnel and a boy falls through the hole.
"Auch!" the boy yells.
"Shut it! Are you Ruby's friend?" the boy nods. "Good. Gwen, hold on to him."
I hand the girl to him and look him in the eyes. I can see fear, and a some pride. I open another shadow.
"You're going to walk in here. Don't be scared, just trust that you'll end somewhere. When you end up in a bedroom, you've got to yell for Debby. Tell her I send you and that you need a 4-10. She'll take care of you. Got it? 4-10."
The last thing I see is Gwen's scared eyes, before I put my blindfold back in place.
"Oh, come on!" I yell as I tug at the smoke. It won't move, but it starts creeping up to my knees. Zaynah has swirling smoke up to her waist, and she is struggling as much as I was.
I blink, but I quickly close my eyes. I had woken up, but I couldn't see. Smoke was all around me. Sneaking up my nose, into my eyes and through my tightly shut mouth. I tried to scream, but when I opened my mouth, smoke snaked in and choked me. I could only manage a small whisper, "Help." Then I doubled over in a coughing fit.
"what the...is she ok...wiat i have an idea...all of you striek your weaposn into the groung...it will create a tunnel ...it'll be our escape route..all of in 3...2...1...then jump in"
"Sounds good. But it best we hurry. I don't think Ruby can hold on much longer." I prepare my weapon above the ground. "One. Two. Three!" I stab my dagger into the ground, and it splits open. At that moment, the smoke swallows my head.
i turn to mae as she goes down. she falls into the ground as it splits. i stab my sword into the ground and maj goes down then the smoke stabs at my stomach and i shout for daniel. he runs towards me but he falls and he lands in my arms. i push him down into the split. i jump in too just as the world goes black...literally
I bump and hit something hard as I fell. I didn't dare open my eyes, in fear of the stinging smoke filling them. Finally my smoke encased body falls onto something solid. I wiggle my way out of the loosening smoke and look around. We are in such a dark room, I can't see a thing. I feel a tingling on my hands, and my instincts tell me to look up. I do, and I squint my trained eyes into night vision. I see out lines of what looked like cave crystals.
I slowly stand and touch the cold minerals. At my contact, they light up and reveal the whole chamber.

"holy shoot." "woah...its beautiful"
"Yes. Yes they are." I say, staring at the dazzling crystals. I pull away from the beautiful appearance and observe my surroundings. It was a small room, about the size of a cramped bathroom. Zaynah was standing next to me, looking at the crystals. The walls were dark and plain. I could instantly tell they were concrete, for they had no living nature to them. The floor was also concrete, cold on my bare feet. There were rock slabs on either side of the room, looking like very uncomfortable beds.
Bars covered the near by door, and I peeked through them. Right across the hall from us was an identical cell to ours. Crystals lite the room, and standing at the bars were Ruby and Maj.
"Trapped. In a stupid, none natural cell." I grunt to the others. I look at Ruby's hands, which had strange gloves covering them. They seemed to be made of the same smoke that encased her body earlier. "Try your magic." I suggest. She nods her head and snaps her fingers. A small spark goes off, but then singes out.
"The gloves are weakening my magic." Ruby says hoarsely.
"You do your Hades earthy thing." I say to Zaynah and Maj. Zaynah looked around for a shadow, but the crystals were so bright they eliminated all darkness. Maj punched the floor, but it just made some pebbles fly. They both shake their heads in defeat. "Well. I think Hecate has really thought this through."

I slump to the ground."I knew she was a bit off but....this? My own mother?" I sobbed. I couldn't stop looking at my pitiful hands, covered in smoke. I kept trying to make my usual spark...anything, but nothing happened. Each time I tried my sparks got weaker and weaker, and fizzled out quicker.
With growing panic, I began to slam my fists into anything, and small sparks flew, but to my dismay, I was totally useless. I banged around the cage, disturbing rocks and crystals, my eyes wild with panic.I began to hold my breath, for some strange reason. To the agitation of the others, my face grew purpler and purpler as I stood there, then, suddenly, a large cloud of red smoke poofed in front of me, and covered my body. When the smoke cleared, the others couldn't believe their eyes. With the last ounce of magic I had left, I had transformed into a large, sleek, gray wolf.
"What the?! Ruby, why a wolf?" I question. She didn't respond, but just started pacing in her little room.
I growled, and suddenly howled loudly."Ruby! Shut up! We'll be found!" snapped Maj, agitated.
"Shhh. Calm. Down." I sooth Ruby, using some wolf skills learned back home. She stopped pacing and came to the bars, blue and green eyes calm. "Now what was he purpose of the transforming." she whimpers for a few seconds, then sits down.
"Because ______________________________." I understand from the small barks and yips.

i stare in horror at ruby's transformation. then i scream. memories of a pack of sharp teeth, of fire, of a woods, their limb bodies falling and the fire licking them, my screams and their scream calling out to me...
i run for the door but it's locked obviously. tears slip from ym eyes...no...no...no...their dyign agaian and i can do nothign to help them. daniel runs to me and hold me tight but i just sob into his chest

(Daniel? We were captured alone. Its just the 4 of us because the loved ones are at Debby's.)
"I don't know. I guess I just panicked...Ooh, now I have no magic left...I'll have to recharge...Oh no...I can't change back..." I whimpered again.When I look up and find Zaynah staring at me, horrified, I try to grin and wave. Sadly it comes out as more of a grimace and my paw waving seems to be me scratching at the air. Zaynah shrieks and throws something at me. Luckily, it lands a few yards away.
When Ruby gives me a confused look, I shrug. I walk over to Zaynah's curled up body. I crouch down and put a calming hand on her shoulder. I notice something swirling around her head. Smoke. The same smoke that had covered Ruby's hands. I tried to wave it away, but it just drifted back into place. "Zaynah. Zaynah!" I called. I looked at her eyes, which were glazed and had smoke drifting in front of them.
"Don't touch me! Go away!" she whimpered, retreating from my hand.
I groan. "Why! Zaynah is enchanted. Ruby is stuck in a wolf body, along with no powers. Whats next? Maj turns into a pickle!?" I exclaim.

I look over at Maj expectantly, but nothing happens. I whimper and lay down, head at Maj's feet. She looks disgusted and scoots away.

"Seriously. Do you guys just hate dogs or something? They are amazing creatures. With strength, speed, agility, and smarts. They are very courageous, also." I give a warm smile to Ruby's sad face. "What are we gonna do? No magic, no Hades stuff, and no pickles!" I punch the concrete wall in frustration. It cracks slightly, but doesn't do anything. I whence and rub my throbbing fist. "Wait a second... if we were in the center of the Earth, and we fell through a tunnel, how is that possible? It doesn't get any deeper, and I don't remember any dungeons in the Outer Core. And we were in a maze of illusions... Ruby, howl again. But louder."

i gag ans shudder at the sound of the howls. i cover my eears...fightign...martial arts helped me calm down. i bgein kickign and ounching the wall behind me...i'm sweating and angry at ymself...why was is o scared...i was never so careless with my emotions...what was happening to me...

I look at Zaynah freaking out again. This time she is physically freaking out. "Oh. Maybe howling isn't the wisest choice." I say to Ruby, walking towards Zaynah in the corner. "Zaynah. Its ok. Your safe." I say, pulling her struggling body down onto a rock slab. I look and see a drip of water leaking from the ceiling. I got my hand wet, and walked back over to Zaynah's shivering body. I smeared the water on her forehead, and she became calm. The smoke drifted farther from her head, but still circled near by. She smiled, and started breathing heavily. "Good. She is sleeping peacefully."
(Maj pulled a Toph move. I wanna pull a Katara.)

I look up at Mae. "Is she fit enough for the shadows?"
"Whatever we have to do...just get em away for that thing..." i say to mae and maj grimaccing at the wolf..."wheres ruby"
"Uh... right there." I point to the wolf. She does the best grin a wolf can do. Zaynah looks like she is gonna faint. "Don't worry. It didn't eat her. Ruby transformed into a wolf. But no one knows why..."
"what the heck...ruby anything your forgot to tell us...ummm..maybe that you related to jacob black and you can turn into a bloody wolf...why a wold....shut up zaynah its a wolf it doenst understand you...yeah it does...no it doenst..." i punch the wall again and skim my knuckles...the peel slowly...i wince ansd groasn and sink tot he floor...
I look quizzically at Mae. I start growling and whimpering, small barks and yips. Only Mae understood. "I can understand everyone, but I guess no one can understand me...well except you, that is... what's the deal with Zaynah, anyway?"
"Apparently she has a thing with wolves." I observe. I shrug showing I know no more. "What we gonna do to get out of here? We can't just leave. There's probably guards all around." I poke my head through the bars and look down the halls. "What the..." At the end of the hall, the brick wall shimmered and shifted. "Perfect." I whisper to myself. "Ruby. Scratch the bars, and make it noisey. Just no howling." I glance at Zaynah, punching the wall and making her knuckles red.
I looked quizzically again at Mae, but did so without question. My 2 inch-long claws scraped and scratched at the bars, creating quite a racket.
"i cover my eyears..."shut up you stupid wolf...first you ate ruby, then create havoc and me freak out now...bow your creating an earthquake...are you tring to make my eardrums explode or something..." "mae tried to say somethign to me" "kmaefantasy...do not tell me i am being paranoid becuase i am not...that wolf has got it in for me...for us...and she started with ruby..."
I rolled my eyes and snorted.
"don't snort at me...and dont roll your eyes ior i will poke those eys out with my arrow ya hear em"
I squinted at Zaynah and my face looked sort of similar to Ruby's when she was thinking very hard. unforchunately, Zaynah took it as a face saying I was going to lunge at her.
"oh shit...hey doggy...you wanna piece of this...let go...when im doen with you, you'lll look a peeled potato..."
I growled, sort of a wolfy chuckle. This was going to be fun. Maybe being a wolf had its perks, after all...I pretended to lunge at Zaynah. She narrowed her eyes and dodged, then threw a metal disc at me. ("Hey! Where'd you get that from?" Mae yelled indignantly) My eyes widened and I dodged it just by a hair. Another. And another flew past my ears. Oh no. Zaynah was going into full battle mode. Not good not good.
I tried to run, but slammed into the wall. Then my wolf instincts took over. I howled and growled and barked, scratching at the walls, bars, anything I could get my paws onto. I scrabbled at the tight bars, trying desparately to squeeze through. "No! You'll get stuck! Don't-" Mae began. She trailed off, looking astonished. Maj was cowering in a corner, and I had just somehow bent a metal bar so much it gave me just enough room... I sprang through the opening and stared, wide eyed at everything around me. My eyes were yellow. I was in full wolf mode. Nothing remained of my human self. Or if it did, it was buried deep, deep down. "Oh, no - Ruby, stop! Stop it! G-good wolf...Good wolfie..." Maj squeaked. "Mae, she's gonna run!" By now Zaynah had calmed down, or she had gotten terrified of my panic attack. She was standing, open mouthed at me, Mae at her shoulder. "She's gonna run!" Maj repeated frantically, and tried to squeeze through the opening I made, but found it was much to small for a human.
"Ruby Woods. Don't move a muscle." I growled. I crawled over to the bars and sat on the grimy floor. "Ruby. Sit." she hesitated, then obeyed. "Now. Don't let that wolf be in the way of real Ruby. Demi-god Ruby. Warrior Ruby. Daughter of Hecate Ruby. My friend, Ruby."
Only a moment more, then my wolf side receded and Ruby came back. "Hey! Wassup? Got any waffles handy cuz let me tell you, I am staaaa-" I stopped, when I saw I was no longer on the other side of the bars and Zaynah, mae, and Maj were staring, open mouthed at me. "Um. Did I miss something?"
(okay, sorry. So this is a continuation of Drop something on the Person Below, a discussion from Percy Jackson, The Lightning Theif, and what happened was somehow it turned into a sort of improv thing, between Maj, Zaynah, kmaefantasy, and I, who were constant users on this conversation, and we decided to continue it on a totally different page. It is PJ based, with monsters and propecies and Camp Half Blood and stuff, and I think most people just ignore us :) sorry for the confusion!)
@Ruby: "Uh... yea-no. Not a thing. You know you're a wolf, right?" she looks at herself and nods her wolf head. "Ok. In that case, yeah. Ya missed nothing. Can you run to the end of the hall, where you see the shifting bricks? Yeah. Go walk straight through them. Figure out where we are."
I shrugged, and did as I was told. To my surprise, I was able to pass straight through them and ended up in an open meadow. Quickly, I hid behind a small tree, and peered out. To my horror, I saw what looked like ghosts floating around the meadow, doing absolutely nothing. I looked and looked, but all I could see for miles were ghosts flitting about, looking bored. I turned and was about to walk back through the brick wall, but I didn't see one. I felt around, and finally found the opening, which was invisible and was only air. I ducked through and came to report to Mae."Mae I- I think I just saw..... The fields of Asphodel!"
I shiver at the thought of all the confused lost people. "Try the other end. If I am correct, the Asphodel is the down side, and the other side should lead up to the surface." I point to the other wall. "Either that or a total and complete trap." I mutter under my breath.
