Hi Lieke - there's a little mistake in one of the series titles created. It should be "Il-Logħba tal-Allat" with a final 't' ...
I wish to add 3 new series as follows:
Irvin Vella, Virtual Investigator series
In 2015, Bonello published the first in a series of detective novels for children: 'Il-Każ Manduca' (The Manduca Case) featured the character of Irvin Vella, a young Maltese aspiring investigator working on a number of unusual cases, helped by his young twin-cousins Luca and Laura. The first two novels in the series were both awarded the Malta National Book Prize.
Unus Mundus series
In 2013, Bonello published the first in a two-book series for adults: Fil-Mergħat tal-Impossibbli (The Pastures of Impossibility) is a sci-fi thriller featuring thirty five year old librarian Steve Ebejer. On his next birthday, Steve starts experiencing strange events as he is transported into a dark and sinister future. The first book was shortlisted for the Malta National Book Prize 2014.
The Game of the Gods series
In 2008, Bonello self-published his debut fantasy novel, It-Tielet Qamar (First Quarter), the first book in the trilogy 'Il-Logħba tal-Allat' (The Game of the Gods). The novel is written in Maltese and features three teenage friends who find a doorway to a parallel world, hidden within the ancient Megalithic structures in Malta. Through that doorway, they discover great unimaginable secrets and embark on an adventure that will change their lives forever. The second and third books in the trilogy were both awarded the Malta National Book Prize for best book in their category.
