Susan | 79 comments Trying to identify a book from a few details. One being that the heroines got a father with MANY bastard SONS all with more or less the same name.

Her treasured belongings are put in the dungeon storage and destroyed maliciously.
Her betrothed/husband is the laird.
Her nemesis has some crazy relationship with a neighbor laird and something to do with raising money for the clan.

That's about all I remember except the overall feel of it, which would be hard to relay concisely. Any ideas?

Perhaps within the last few years... up to 6 or 5. I can't remember how long I've read this genre exactly. But it could be a very old book.
The father and all her brothers with the same name is a minuscule part of the story near the end, I think.

Susan | 79 comments The father and brothers aren't a integral part of the story but rather something I remember as a minor happening, I think.
