Now that you say it, I can see how it would totally NOT make sense for Sanderson to absurdly kill his best char after all that mazing setup.
Of course, I will continue the series with Shivaan and Anni whenever they decide. I won't wuss out, I promise. I'm never prissy + the only series I just physically couldn't handle was *yerk* F&tF.
Here, i just wanted to crib for a while....see Sedat, when you cut your finger there is no fun in it, no? The only fun to be had when something icky happens is to be had in indulging yourself by howling very loudly and then eating some ice cream. So...similarly...i was jezzt yowling in outrage... mainly for *kicks*
But still...!%^*#! Sadeas!!!

Oh and @Lena...I think Virginie meant Sylphrena and not Shallan...bcuz Syl has a foggy memory...its all over the book and very prominently so...see, riddle solved 😄😃😀!!!

I'm done too and didn't expected the book to get any better, but the last quarter was amazing, I loved all the developments!

1. When Shallan discovered her ability to 'see' these symbol-heads while drawing a picture, I love the atmosphere they added to the story, mysterious and a little creepy!
2. The development of bridge 4!!!
3. Everything that resulted from Sadeas Treason and the Treason itself... This make Sadeas such a great love-to-hate character!!! I hate hom for what he've done but you also could understand why he did it and it's not just because he like to be evil :D And how Bridge 4 helped Dalinar and the fight and Navani drawing the symbol and the talk between Kaladin and Dalinar and that he gave away Oathbringer! Just everything! 😂
4. Lopen! :) Especially when he asked Kaladin if he could teach him to absorb Stormlight to impress the Ladys 😂
5. How Dalinar found his strength and speak up/ fight the King!
6. How Shallan discovered the truth about Jasnah and their disscussions
7. The truth (or theory) about the parshmen
8. Wit/Hoid! :) I know is strange because he wasn't there that much, but he's one of my favorites :) I loved the last chapter and the talk between Kaladin and him!

@Zaara: When Szeth is coming to Dalinar there is Kaladin and his bridgecrew to protect him :) He's not completely unprotected!

Sadeas is an interesting character in that we see him from different perspectives. A ruthless cruel general, a loyal soldier, a possible enemy/traitor, an old friend, a man of honor. No reason he can’t be all of them, people are complicated.

Yeah, Sanderson always finishes his book with a very intense sequence of events/reveals. The fans call it the "Sanderson avalanche" :p

People are dying, yes so😂😂😂 should we laugh or cry at this world that makes outrage wear chains?

I struggled greatly for the first book and kept pushing myself to read because this many people couldn't be wrong. And by the end of the book I said wow this book is amazing but I will admit I didn't see how this series was better than Mistborn.

I'm reading Words of Radiance...

I see why people think that. And I also think the same. Stormlight Archive is the best thing I've read.

Please ppl don't DNF the book. (My problem was adapting to too many POVS at once) Once you get used to the way POV's think and behave you won't want to go to sleep or work.

Page 970 - those last two chapters were the best in the whole book! I had no idea about Elokhar but Dalinar’s boot in the chest was the kick in the ass the entire story had coming. That and Shallan finally getting brave enough to share and find answers, oh yes, this is going somewhere!
