I'd love it if you wanted to join me! I have my copy waiting at the library to pick up, when would you like to start?

Aw, sorry to hear it's pricey. That's a bummer. Maybe next time we will land on something we both have! :-)
Betty wrote: "I have been wondering who is the author? There are 5 books with that title."
Yep, it is the one Hilary linked by J.A. Hennrikus. I hope you are interested in joining!

Sure! If you use the library, you might want to check there too. That's where I'm getting my copy. :-)

I'm in the middle of a book right now that I will probably finish tomorrow, so how would Thursday or Friday be?

Aw man, super bummer that your library doesn't do ebooks! That would be so helpful for you! I definitely understand not wanting to pay that much for one. I don't buy many ebooks and when I do, it makes me crazy to pay more than $5 for one. If I can't have an actual BOOK it doesn't seem worth the money to me. So I definitely get it!

Sounds like a good plan to me! How do these work, have you ever done one? Do we just read a certain amount and chat about it afterward?

It looks like most of the others have been about reading a book series, not a single book. So I guess we'll make it up as we go along! :-)
You can set it up however you wish. In other groups I am in where we do monthly group reads, they generally do a "no spoilers" before a certain date -- or ask people to use the "spoiler" tag (See 'some html is ok' above comment box). You can break the discussion down by a group of chapters, or do it on the book as a whole. Entirely up to you, just make sure you continue the discussion in this thread. '-)

Completely understandable. I only have it because I was able to get it from my library. I got lucky. :-)

I think I'll begin on Wednesday (currently reading another book), but I definitely will read it.

I want to say thanks to Cat for choosing this book. It would have been much more time in my TBR but I've enjoyed it a lot, as it is a setting that you usually don't see.
