Aw, sorry to hear it's pricey. That's a bummer. Maybe next time we will land on something we both have! :-)
Betty wrote: "I have been wondering who is the author? There are 5 books with that title."
Yep, it is the one Hilary linked by J.A. Hennrikus. I hope you are interested in joining!

Betty wrote: "I need to check out the cost before I commit. It does sound interesting."Sure! If you use the library, you might want to check there too. That's where I'm getting my copy. :-)

I have it on Kindle so can start when you want to :D
My library doesn't carry ebooks. My eyes allow only reading an ebook. I won't pay over $8.00 for a book, even some of my favorite authors, I pass on $8.00. I read about 1 book a day and my budget won't allow the higher cost. I don't want to pay for a book I can't

I'm in the middle of a book right now that I will probably finish tomorrow, so how would Thursday or Friday be?

Aw man, super bummer that your library doesn't do ebooks! That would be so helpful for you! I definitely understand not wanting to pay that much for one. I don't buy many ebooks and when I do, it makes me crazy to pay more than $5 for one. If I can't have an actual BOOK it doesn't seem worth the money to me. So I definitely get it!

Hilary S wrote: "How about Monday next week? start the week with a book!"Sounds like a good plan to me! How do these work, have you ever done one? Do we just read a certain amount and chat about it afterward?
Hilary S wrote: "I believe so hmm wonder of there is a hint on the group anywhere!"
Hilary S wrote: "I believe so hmm wonder of there is a hint on the group anywhere!"It looks like most of the others have been about reading a book series, not a single book. So I guess we'll make it up as we go along! :-)

You can set it up however you wish. In other groups I am in where we do monthly group reads, they generally do a "no spoilers" before a certain date -- or ask people to use the "spoiler" tag (See 'some html is ok' above comment box). You can break the discussion down by a group of chapters, or do it on the book as a whole. Entirely up to you, just make sure you continue the discussion in this thread. '-)

Don't like paying $15.00 for a paperback unless it's an author I already "know" and since I don't much care for reading books on my Kindle anyway, I won't go over $4.00 or $5.00 for an e-book...and then it has to be for something I REALLY want and can't get other than as an e-book!

     Yes, thank you Heather!

Completely understandable. I only have it because I was able to get it from my library. I got lucky. :-)
Well I started reading it today and errr finished it as well! I like Sully - she has found a niche in her old home town and I hope there will be more books as at the moment this is the only one.

I think I'll begin on Wednesday (currently reading another book), but I definitely will read it.

Wow, you finished that fast!! I'm going to start it tonight or tomorrow. I hope I like it as much as you seem to have liked it!

I'm glad you liked it! I started it last night but I'm only about 30 pages in. Got a late start on it. I'll probably get through a chunk of it tonight though!

I want to say thanks to Cat for choosing this book. It would have been much more time in my TBR but I've enjoyed it a lot, as it is a setting that you usually don't see.
