Okay, so most of my December BRs ended up falling by the wayside due to being super busy with RL stuff over the holidays. I'll know to take it easier next December. I did manage to finish When the Heavens Fall and wasn't impressed enough to continue with that series. I'm still listening to Caliban's War on audio so that BR is obviously carrying over into January.

So far I've been managing to keep up with my January BRs. I finished Homeland and I'm just 2.5 hours shy of finishing the audiobook for Exile. I also finished the BR for Legend and the BoTM, Blood Song.

Finished off all of my January BRs. February is still busy, though less so than January, but once I'm past that it's a much more relaxed schedule. :-)

I like mine dark, somewhat bitter...actually despite all the baking I don't have too much of a sweet tooth...my desserts are minimally sweet and I was so surprised to find they make zucchini bread extremely sweet and sugary in America...bcuz I bake mine savoury...with shallots...😂😂😂 I do like pain au chocolat tho with my café...bcuz huh fresh baked bread...

Thank you, my friend! Wow, lots of cobwebs around here, lol. I know I've been MIA for a awhile now. Hoping to be more active in 2022 though I'm a little intimidated about where to start.

There were less BR's last year. People kinda navigated to doing more Book Club reads. Easy to setup and more casual about timing. Since pandemic life is a bit different from normal. =)

Format for the planned BRs and how they're shown is a bit different. Mods made it easier to see active threads/etc.

Come read whatever at Vagabond or join one of the Mystery reads. Most of the book club threads will show what's being read. There are a handful of fun BR's sprouting like new grass.

Haha, I'm trying Iain! That's quite a few books to get through before holiday season this year. I know it's nothing to super readers like you and Soo but I'm just a mere mortal trying to get back on the reading train. Sucks that I missed out on the BR. Some books don't lend themselves that well to BRs because there's honestly not a whole lot to discusss but that's definitely not the case with these books.

I'll see what I can do to get caught up.

I wasn't trying to talk you into reading 7 books now... just back then... but if you want to try, you just need to read books 2-3 by August, I think?... and maybe re-read book 1 first?... then they're doing 4-6 monthly, leading up to 7th book coming out in November...
