Up to Ch. 9... I am a bit worried about (view spoiler)

It's odd to realize that the main POV characters we're moving through this story with, the "good guys", are from the invading army and the "bad" guys are really just the people trying to defend their homeland against invaders.

I just finished chapter 3. I'm really liking Janus, he's funny. And Winter is interesting so far.

Yes, I thought about that, but for now at least, the way I understand it, they are acting on the side of the exiled Prince, so they have some minimal excuse...

Ooo, they were - I watched them all on NBCSN... I hate that they don't show them on the regular channel for all to see.
There is something about Janus, I hope we find out what is up with him:) He is a very interesting character.

Same here. I love Winter!!! So we are sticking with it:)




Im still reading it I'm finishing up closed and common orbit first then will be back to this.

Winter is the exact type of character I like. :3

Winter and Marcus are the ones doing the legwork on the ground and try to keep people alive, so I'm less inclined to go off on a tirade about their actions. Nevertheless Janus makes perfect sense as a character, especially for his setting. It's my more modernized sensibilities getting in the way if enjoyment I think.
