Which new releases are you most looking forward to?

Sadly, I really doubt it. I have not seen a release date anywhere and, perhaps more to the point, I have seen neither a cover nor a pre-order page. That makes me worried that the release is more like the second half of 2025. I'm hoping someone can tell me I've missed something and that it is coming sooner.

I’m waiting for the new Witcher book. And I have to say I’m hyped! I’ve read the first chapter published in Nowa Fantastyka magazine and it was very good.

The book title is going to be „Rozdroże kruków” - "The Crossroads of Crows" is the most possible translation. It’s a story about (view spoiler)[young Geralt and his first adventures as he became a witcher and left Kaer Morhen. (hide spoiler)]
This part of his life was barely mentioned in The Last Wish.

It can be a new entry point to the world. I think you can read it without reading anything about Geralt before.

It will be out in Poland at the end of the month. I think the English translation will be available soon.

I recently found out that the book I can never shut up about is getting a sequel next year! So exciting!!

Ocean's Godori is a sci-fi space opera following a lovably quirky gang of misfits working aboard a spaceship together. They are each grappling with issues of identity, trauma, and grief, but they discover a family in each other and begin to navigate a way forward together, all while zooming through the cosmos on a high-stakes intergalactic escapade. It’s filled with these beautifully sensitive and unique character interactions that feel fresh and different from what I’ve seen before. Not to mention great action as well!

Last night I logged onto Goodreads and was so excited to see the new cover art for the sequel, Teo's Durumi. It's gorgeous! I rarely buy books but I might not be able to resist getting this one. It’s coming out in August 2025 and I cannot wait, I'm totally invested in these nerds and need to know what happens to them. But if you’re going to pick it up, you might want to read it a bit closer to August so you don't have as torturous a wait ahead as me, haha.

A few releasing this week that I’m looking forward to:

Witchcraft for Wayward Girls first and foremost. I love Grady Hendrix. I don’t think all his books are perfect but they are usually more good than bad.

Lightfall by Ed Crocker - Debut author I think? I didn’t read the blurb deeply enough to catch the plot but the worldbuilding sounds fun.

Water Moon - more hesitant about this one, because I think it’s supposed to be cozy, which in general is not really my thing, but it sounds like it has a solid plot to propel it forward and the premise sounds really exciting.

And then in February, Grave Empire by Richard Swan. I haven’t read the other series though I intend to, but I think this is a standalone and I’d rather start here.
