S.W. Wilcox (swwilcox) | 118 comments I know! And there's so many pics of small, striped house cats pulling sleigh-duty too, and not even the Norwegian breed which are about twice the size of normal house cats. I tend to picture tiger-sized wildcats, which is a fair trade between house cats and "bears" the article speaks of.

Message copy:
Spring is coming! Would you possibly like to do a group read this spring (my 3rd, and very successful)? 3 authors would read and review you, and you'd read/review 3 different authors (avoids swaps) in the same broad genre of Northern Heroes before gunpowder from Arthur & Beowulf to Robin Hood & Hamlet. You'll get a full month per book. Let me know soon? Thanks!

Haha! And as Snowbell said in Stuart Little "And that could take hours -- if you do it right...." (Not sure how Shyamalan got a G film rating with that line.)

He contacted me early on about how best to give notes, but I haven't heard a peep since. If you don't hear from him by April 1st, just consider him a no-show. :=(

Huge thanks go out to Sam Burnell for all the help she's giving me in improving descriptions, playing with keywords and categories. The business side of this isn't my forte, but I really appreciate the positive feedback and reviews I've received here for the first entry!

S.W. Wilcox (swwilcox) | 118 comments Thanks Christy. I'll leave it up to you whether to read/review it, since as far as I know he didn't review any of his three assigned books.

I sent him a copy of mine, and he verified that he received it, but that was the last I heard.

message 81: by S.W. (new)

S.W. Wilcox (swwilcox) | 118 comments I apologize for that J.M. If this happened earlier in the read, I would have looked for a replacement. This subject matter though isn't as common as one would think, and I used all my on-deck authors for the current read, with zero leftovers.

message 82: by Rusty (new)

Rusty Rhoad | 36 comments I have J.M.'s novel and am not part of the next round, so I'll review it sometime in the next month or two. Been looking forward to reading it anyway.
