Guys when you send out the invites, it helps if you tell the person what the group offers. We have a wide range of things for different subcultures on good reads ie, readers, authors etc. We are a community that offers a lot of different resources, discussions and support. Mention this and you will be more inclined to have people join.
We expect that we will announce the first winners today, really exciting stuff!

I have my five friends. I wasn't sure if I posted them here or if there is another way to message you guys. Sorry. My goodreads skills are sorely lacking. My friends who joined are Jordan Keith, Clint White, Hillary Luevano, Stephanie Elms, Rebecca Gage, and Rhonds Johnson so far.

There are a number of authors who are so close and have messaged us to let us know of the people that have joined because of their invite. We do check this and confirm the information.
Remember, the prize is for five confirmed members. Not five invites. Also when you send us the names, please ensure they are spelled correctly so that we can check them accurately, message them etc.
You can check (I believe) under members and then typing the persons name in.

I sent out 64 invites so hopefully some will join! I like this group!
I've confirmed three from like 40 invites... After this I'm totally going to accept all invitations which are sent to me :)

How do we know who answered our invites? I am pretty sure TW Piperbrook answered my invite when I checked my friends.
I've had 3 people accept the invitation so far, only 2 more to go!

This works ^ and is a great way to check. We have other ways of checking as well. We are in the process of checking your Meghan.

All you need to do is invite as many friends as you want in order to have at least 5 of them join our group.
Once you have confirmed that they have joined our group, send us their names so we can confirm that you have invited them and that they are now a part of our group.
Keep in mind that once someone sends an invite, that person is normally unable to be invited again.
The campaign only counts NEW people from this posting date on wards who have joined the group. You will need to claim them so that we can confirm that they have joined.
We want to build a community here and we also want to get the word out. Only five people are needed to be confirmed for your entry but the more you can confirm, the better, as you will see below. Also, keep in mind that not everyone responds to messages so it will have to be a minimum of 5 confirmed responses from people you have invited.
So what do you get out of this? Excellent question.
The first 31 people who get five people invited, contact us to advise us of who these people are and are confirmed get a great prize. The prize is a full feature on our face book page about you.
There will be one feature a day for a full month. The feature will include picture/s, information about you as a reader, blogger, reviewer, writer etc. and links to any websites that you operate. We will also tweet about you that day and get the word out about you.
There is another prize that only ONE PERSON CAN WIN.
There will be a prize for the person who can demonstrate that they have recruited the most group members.
This will be an entire week on our face book page featuring you. Information about yourself, an interview, features on your website, blog, books etc for AN ENTIRE WEEK! This is a great prize, you will get promoted to thousands of people just for sending out invites.
