How to add a picture on your author page?

Hello!

I hope everyone is having a great week so far.

I am having a very hard time figuring out this site. I obtained an author page many months ago but I guess I never uploaded a picture. I'm not sure how to do that or if I'm even actually signed in to that sight. I logged in with the same email address I used to ask for the author page so I should be signed in.

I want to pay more attention to Goodreads, however, the site is NOT easy to use for people who are not technical. I've spent 4 hours this afternoon so far trying to figure out how to run a giveaway...still can't figure it out.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I feel your pain- the only way you'll get to know is by navigating it. Took me a long time and I will admit I make my kids do any uploading.

click on your little author picture in the upper right corner of gr tool bar. click on dashboard, then edit profile. There you will see a place to add or change your picture. If I can figure this out, you can, too!

You have not claimed the author page. If you click on your picture it takes you to a user profile not an author profile

A author profile has the words Goodreads Author on it in black

Melissa: I am a technical dunce. What i have found is that the goodreads support team is extremely helpful. I believer the address is support@goodreads.com. Any problem you have or advice you need, take advantage. They've always been there for me.

I went back into my old e-mails from Dec. 27th of last year when I first asked about setting up an Author account. Tech support said they did and even sent me a link to it. Well I just clicked on it and it said "This author can't be found" so perhaps I neglected some step or maybe it was deleted for inactivity?

Well, I emailed her again so hopefully, she'll be able to help. I'm SO bad at this stuff. Thank you all again!! :)
