Dominique Aguilera From what I've heard, the film rights for this book have been bought, and a script has been written.

I personally think that a movie adaptation should exist. It's literally just going to be another Manson film, with a few changes! Anyone else agree?

Randi Most scripts don't make it to movies, a lot funding is required, so there's that.

Christy Letterman Fair Welp, now ole Charles is dead. I am sure they saw that coming when they bought the rights. I bet it will make it. The movie better be better than this BORING book.

Randi I liked the book.

Burn in hell, Chuck.

Sandra The book is not about Manson! A movie of this book should be directed by Sofia Coppola.

I definitely agree that Coppola can capture Evie's voice! This book is about the nature of cults and the people a strong and manipulative leader can attract. She would do this story justice.

Cassie While I didn't particularly care for this book, I would see anything directed by Coppola. She has a such a way of capturing the female spirit.

Jane Well I can imagine Evie. She feels totally believable. Ok, how's this for strange? The month in 69 that Sharon Tate and others were killed by the Manson crew, I was babysitting for Dustin Hoffman's new wife's child in Malibu. I was utterly terrified thinking about the murder so close to where we were living. I did read the book and it was creepy. I'm not sure I'd read the movie but the murders spooked me, Dustin and his new wife Anne.

Wow! That's crazy. I bet you guys really were shaken.

Pete Cockram Sometimes the movies are better than the books. Alot of room for improvement with this work. I think we are at a time when a fascination with the late 60's is going to be a very strong nostalgic pull, so get on the "blue bus".
