Hacked on Goodreads!

Hello friends --

Just thought I'd give you a heads-up on something. One of my GR friends messaged me and asked a strange question -- had I checked out the link on my author profile page to my own web site? I said "no", and he told me I had better look. Lo and behold, someone had hacked into GR and placed a redirect on the link so instead of connecting with my web site, http://highdesertlit.com, it connected with a site dealing with erotica! This was very embarrassing for sure, and I hope not many GR readers clicked on it. I just deleted the link, and am not sure I'll put it up again. Anyway, I just wanted all of you to know to check your links once in awhile in order to prevent this from happening to you.

Thanks. But I think you should never click on a link. Just saying, because you might get hacked. That's what a friend of mine told me.
