You will get an email. If its been a long time you can reapply.

I realized I didn't explain very well why I was asking for this status in my application, which is probably why I didn't get any response! So I was going to resend a new application but seems like I can't, though I think it has been a couple weeks now... I should have noted the date somewhere!
My reason for applying was to be able to complete author profiles and to combine/merge editions of a same book: I found quite a bunch of not really famous French books/authors that were either not in the database at all or whose edition entries were a mess (recorded as separate books, etc...).
I guess if they don't want me as a librarian I will be pestering you guys on those forums to ask if you could make all those changes for me. But would be handy to be able to fix that myself, since those errors seem to be quite frequent for smaller authors and books in non English languages (which makes sense: the English speaking community is the largest one and most active on Goodreads!)

I don't believe there is a set time that it takes, but if you are unable to apply again then that means a decision on your application hasn't been made yet, so your request could still be accepted any day now. If you were able to apply again, that would mean they hadn't accepted your application and you would have to apply again.
So I would suggest you hang in there, as your answer probably isn't too far away and if you have anything that needs fixing in the mean time, then absolutely ask in this group, after all that's what its here for :)
Good Luck with your application

I'll wait some more then, it's not urgent anyway... but if nothing come, I will definitely come back to you all, in this group: I already have a little list of things that would need fixing and I'm sure I will routinely find more of those :)

(I was long time not active in the librarians group although a librarian (but not that much and only minor edits on my own books) and some details I learned indeed through others answers here - and on what to pay most attention)
