Writing Bug

I know this is cliche, but I had a dream last night that might make a good plot line for a book. With a few tweaks, of course. No vampires. ;)

I've dabbled in writing before, but I've never been serious. I've always wanted to write a first draft, though, just to do it. So, this idea might be the one.

NaNoWriMo is going on right now. Even though it's 4 days into November, I could still join, but I think it might be too much pressure for my first time. And, since I've finally got a handle on my depression, I think my husband might kill me, metaphorically, of course, lol.

Does anyone else dabble in writing or is anyone a serious writer?

You could do NaNoWriMo and not finish. You can also do one of their camps.

True. But, usually once I join something, I feel that unspoken pressure to do something even if I don't follow through.
