For those who don't know, to add a book link or cover to a post, simply click on the "add book/author" link above the comment box, select link or cover, search for and find the edition of your book, and click "Add." :)

I knew how to post the link but was still unsure how to get the cover to show. Thanks, Monique!
Monique will be helping me with team updates. I feel like I have zero time lately to do them regularly and she is willing to help me. Thanks, Monique!!
I have a couple of questions about the book I'm currently reading. I'm trying to see if it would work for one of the tasks in the next round.Task 33 - Winter Olympics
So I looked it up online. This book has multiple publication dates, beginning with February 2011. I know my library copy was published in 2011, but not sure if it was February. Would it count for that task?
Task 35 - Valentine's Day
I've found the word heart in the text, but I'm wondering about the bonus point. The cover of my copy is bright pink. However, some of the editions have a red cover
though most are the bright pink. Would it work for the bonus point?
Dawn, for task 33 since you are not sure about the publication month, go with the first publication listed on GR.
Also, regarding the cover color. What book is it?

Just saw you included the book (on mobile so it didn't show up right away). I'm going to have to say no for that working for the bonus. Since your copy is the pink one and it doesn't look red enough. Sorry about that. :/

With
as the book edition you are reading, it doesn't work for the #35 bonus instructions... Also this book edition doesn't work for task #33's instructions... However Dawn, there are many tasks your book does work for, including:#2. Thanks-giving (November 23)
*Read a book using one of the following options:
- “THANKFUL” or “GRATEFUL” is in the text.
- THANKSGIVING in the title.
*How it works: "Hannah was so grateful to Mike for rescuing her..." (Chapter 7).
#9. Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow
*Read a book that has SNOW or a SNOWFLAKE on its cover or in its text.
*How it works: "There were no tire tracks in the freshly fallen snow" (Chapter 1).
#12. Advent/Christmas Cards
*Read a book that has a CALENDAR or CARD on its cover, in its title, or in its text.
*How it works: "...we exchanged Christmas cards..." (Chapter 11).
#19. Christmas Party/Gathering
*Read a book that has a gathering of people at Christmas on its cover or mentioned in its text.
*How it works: "...he came to the office Christmas party wearing a bright red shirt with a green tie" (Chapter 6).
#22. O Holy Night
*Read a book using one of the following options:
-The NATIVITY SCENE (the birth of Jesus, Son of God) depicted on its cover or in its text.
-Contains at least one of the following words in its text: GOLD, FRANKINCENSE, or MYRRH.
*How it works: "...gems suspended from a white gold filigreed pendant" (Chapter 1).
For anyone still looking for a book for a book to read for task #31, this classic is a quick read (104 pages), is free at Amazon, and works very well for this task:#31. Groundhog Day (February 2)
*How it works: A ghost causes memory loss in the main character.
One of the most unusual memory loss stories I read last year is A Prince to Order. It's also free online, though it is around 300 pages. It was a quick read for me, though, because the action moved so fast.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

This challenge is flying by and will be over before we know it!How have you all been liking this challenge?
It's been a blast, and I love the flexibility of being able to choose our own categories per round. That made it extra fun and required more chatting among teammates, which I really appreciated.

I second Andrea, Monique. This challenge has been especially helpful to me in getting me to review more books, something I tend to be rather lax about.
Congrats to all teams for completing Round 5 with some time to spare! :)Round 6 has officially begun and will end two weeks from today, on February 6th.
REMINDER: In order to complete a task and have it count for a round, the finished date of the book and the date the completed review post is posted must be within the time frame of the round, in Pacific Time. Because the Goodreads headquarters is located in San Francisco, the date and time stamps anywhere on Goodreads are based on the PT/PST time zone, shown on this CLOCK. With only two rounds left to go...Round Six began when this clock reads 12:00:00 am with today's date, and will end when the same clock reads 11:59 pm (PT) on Tuesday, February 6th.
Round Seven will begin when this clock reads 12:00:00 am on Wednesday, February 7th, and will end when the same clock reads 11:59 pm (PT) on Tuesday, February 20th.
It's crazy to think we are less than a month away from finishing this challenge!
Since this is the last round of the challenge, I wanted to give a little update on when we will be having the next one. I'm thinking that the sign-ups will go up March 1st, which is about 3 weeks from now. The challenge would start about a week later. Does that sound good? Also, the next one will be a different type of challenge which I hope everyone will enjoy.
Thanks a bunch to Monique for basically taking the reins for this challenge -- it helped me so much as I was really slacking and the updating was difficult to manage this time around.

I'm interested in seeing what type of challenge the next one will be. I haven't yet decided if I'm taking a break or jumping in. It will depend on how many review books I get finished in the meantime, I think. Thanks for all you do, Melanie!
Melanie wrote: "...Thanks a bunch to Monique for basically taking the reins for this challenge -- it helped me so much as I was really slacking and the updating was difficult to manage this time around."It's been a pleasure helping with and participating in this challenge, however because of the pressure I am under to finish several writing and editing projects, I might not be able to participate in the next challenge. This really depends on what kind of challenge the next one will be, how time consuming it might be, and whether the books I have lined up to read next (many of which I'll be losing access to soon) will fit the tasks. Anyway, I am happy to have contributed to this challenge and hope to have made it more enjoyable for many. :)
Well... It seems Team Holly is the first team to have finished all of the tasks in this challenge and achieved every possible bonus point... Therefore Team Holly has won this challenge! Congratulations! :)

I completely understand if you don't have the time to participate in the next one. Thank you again for all the help. :)
