Hanson With the first year and a half of the Rebirth event under readers belts, I wanted to know what YOU think of the re-branding.
How does it compare to the Classic, Pre- and Post-Crisis Universes? Where does it stand against the New52? What have been your favorite titles/story-arcs so far? What have you been disappointed by? Are you looking forward to what remains?

I preferred New 52, but that may just be because it was my introduction to DC. I am not a fan of the double shipping in Rebirth, and the whole "everything is an event" is overwhelming. I read mostly Image and Marvel, so too much crossing over/entanglement in the few DC books I read is a big turn off.

My favorite DC books right now are Mister Miracle, Super Sons and Batwoman, though I'm about 3 months behind on everything. I also enjoyed the first issues of Shade the Changing Girl and Mother Panic, and I plan on hunting down the first trades of each.

Dan (booknooknoggin) | 6 comments I've noticed that it is hit or miss with some Rebirth titles, and others that were great as New 52's are just lacking or have really silly stories going on. I don't know why they thought the monsters/Dr. Strange storyline was good....it was a train wreck and they used this for the return of Batwoman too.

Lucas 6 | 1 comments I have enjoyed the rebirth comics, especially The Flash and Blue Beetle had a comeback from the new 52

Wayland Smith | 263 comments The DCNU or New 52 was horrid for me, and many long term fans. They erased decades of stories and changed a lot of relationships. The inane dictate from on high that "heroes can't be happy" combined with those erasures had me reading the smallest number of DC titles in my decades of reading. Rebirth has restored a lot of what older fans liked, the the Titans team, the return of Wally West, and the Green Arrow/Black Canary relationship, among other things.

So for me, it's been great. My DC numbers have gone back up, and I'm getting to see some of my preferred characters, teams, and relationships. Now if they'd just put Cyborg back in the Titans and give us back the JSA...

Daniel | 265 comments I started reading comics (full time) back in 2012 and I started reading both forward in time and backwards pre New 52
I loved the new 52 because it was my introduction.
I am really enjoying rebirth as i feel it keeps the BEST of new 52 and brings back the best of the old continuity

DC comics is kicking ass
