Flash Fiction Contest - Votes Needed!

For the past year I've been participating on and off in the Indies Unlimited weekly flash fiction competition. It tends to be a popularity contest, but it's a good exercise and results in some fun stories sometimes.

I'm up against stiff competition this week and would like to ask for your vote. Here's how it works.

The IU website is a blog. A prompt is published in a blog post each Saturday, and stories are entered as comments to that post. The voting page is a separate blog post, which appears on Wednesday. Voting is open until Thursday evening at 8:00 PM EDT, 5:00 PM PDT. So for this week's contest, votes can only be entered until this evening (if you live in a US time zone or the equivalent).
