Question of the Day - November 2017

We had a total of ten people at our house. Husband and son cooked and cleaned! I set the table and ... well, oh I was doing some laundry. In other words, they did just about everything!

I'll be making dinner on Friday for the family. My momma is working for thanksgiving so moved everything back a day so she can be present. I'll make all the food.

November 24, Friday: Today is a huge shopping day in the US. When do you do your holiday shopping? Do you fight the Black Friday crowds?

I had to work, EMS never closes, so we'll be having Thanksgiving tomorrow. It's just me, my husband and the girls, so we have invited a neighbor who didn't have anyone to spend it with and my daughters best friend.

I am unable to tolerate large crowds, so I do not go shopping on Black Friday. I do most of my shopping online.

I usually have most of my shopping done before Thanksgiving. I don't care about the big Black Friday sales ... I do not want to deal with the crowds.

I do not shop on Black Friday. I do a little each week from now until Christmas. I do not buy on line if I can get it in a store around here. I think the best sales are the last week or two before Christmas.

Used to but it's just not in our financial ability anymore.

I have a select few that I send cards to. I usually will include a recent school picture of my girls with them.

Hand wash. I don't even have a space to put a dishwasher. I had won many years ago that was old and didn't work right and totally turned me off of dishwashers. Now that it's just me and my husband I don't really have a need.

I hand wash my dishes and then use the dishwasher to sterilize them.

I usually give to arts and education-based charities, though we just gave to our local "Rescue Mission" that does marvelous service for the homeless in our community.
