This is contemporary romance. The main character is a young woman that has had major
tragedy in her life. Her husband and child died in a house fire. She has opened a restaurant vegetarian I think. She meets a man they have an encounter but he can’t forget about her.
I think this is either a 2 or 3 book series.

I read it about 3 years ago. The book starts out in I think Minnesota. It ends up in Chicago. The hero does not know until later in the book that the heroine is very wealthy and had been married before. She is also extremely well educated.
